What is the ugliest insect you have ever seen?

For me it is any insect at all period as I am afraid of them.
But I can tell you the one thing I will never trust my son who is 3 again as he has brought me a snake knowing I am scared of them and he also put a dead rat in my bed.
Let me tell you trying to get a 3 year old to take a rat back out side is not the easiest thing to do ever.

The ugliest insect I have ever seen is a cockroach!! I am with you on the rat and snake! I think I would have fainted LOL...
