Alvin and the Chipmunks ~ Chipwrecked Review

Last weekend I took Charlie to our local Dollar Movie as he wanted to see Alvin and The Chipmunks and even though it is not my first choice of a movie I did it as it was something I knew he would enjoy and I must say we all did. Even David enjoyed it and I am sure we will be getting it to add to our movie collection.

So when I saw Pawsitive Living had also reviewed it and I knew I wanted to see what they said and so I included there review as well so you can see for yourself that they also enjoyed it.

Pool Safety Fence Options

Nothing can take the place of adult supervision of a swimming pool, especially when children are around. Accidents resulting from unauthorized access to swimming pools account for hundreds of deaths every year. To provide effective pool safety and security, homeowners need products made specifically for that function. The many varieties of standard fencing —designed and manufactured for applications other than pools — are not adequate to the task. They are easy for little ones to climb and may be pushed over or pried apart. A quality mesh pool safety fence, purpose-built to prevent unattended access to your pool, is one vital element in a strategy of total pool safety.

Pool safety fences are made of woven polyester mesh. With its high tensile strength, polyester mesh can withstand pressure of up to 300 pounds per square inch. The aluminum fence poles are regularly spaced and mounted into inserts embedded in holes drilled into the surface surrounding the pool. The fence segments of polyester mesh are installed under substantial tension, which enhances structural stability and sturdiness.

The tight polyester mesh of a safety fence provides no toeholds or finger holds, making the fence climb-resistant, especially by children. The tension of the mesh is sufficiently tight to prevent spreading or prying, keeping not only children but small animals and pets out of the pool area, as well. In darker colors, polyester mesh is virtually transparent, allowing full visual observation of pool activities from all sides.

Many mesh fences offer options such as self-closing and self-latching gates. Additionally, each segment of the fence is connected to adjoining segments by a child-proof latch, allowing individual segments — or the entire fence — to be readily removed at any time in order to open the pool area up for parties or special occasions. Fence segments which are removed are easily rolled up for compact storage.

Pool safety fences are available in a variety of colors. Black polyester mesh is the most transparent, but other dark colors offer varying degrees of transparency. Colors can be chosen to fit the landscape of the locale. For example, in locations like Las Vegas or Arizona, earth tones like brown are very popular. Powder coated fence poles in matching colors are available for all pool safety fences. Installing a mesh pool safety fence upgrades security, improves peace of mind and enhances the aesthetics of your entire pool area.

Have You Entered~Super Weekend Subway $50.GC Giveaway

I was chosen to do a Review for Subway and the good news is I have a $50 Gift Card to giveaway. To enter the contest for a chance to win a $50.00 Subway Gift Card follow the directions in the Raffelcopter. Good luck!!!

When "Subway" contacted me to host a review and a giveaway for them I can not tell you how excited I was. This is one of my husbands and my favorite places to eat. So when I talked to the lady she let me know it was for the Catering and I thought "Oh Wow". I can order some sandwiches and do a event in the apartment.

So I did not tell David or Charlie and I made some invitations and I bought all the supplies and I went and ordered the food. Then I came home and decorated the courtyard and I fixed some tea.

Then I waited until everyone came outside and I called David on my cell and told him I needed him in the courtyard as he has been working so much that we have not had a chance to spend together as a family.

Let me tell you when he came down he was blown away as I had made a banner and had it say "The Hardest Working Guy' I know.

I had the table set with construction plates and things and little planes by everyone's plate. He was blown away as was Charlie. He was so surprised that I had the gift cards and could do something like this that he was speechless.

The neat thing was I did it around 10:30 so I had ordered some of the reg. trays and I ended up with the Classic Combo Platter, The Meatballs as I found these online and I knew it would give Charlie something to eat as he is so picky.

I also ordered the combination Subway Cookie and Brownie platter and I must say Charlie and I fell in Love with these.

The neat thing was when I was having my party the apartment manager popped by and saw what all we had and he has offered to host a end of Summer event for us which I can not wait for as it is going to allow us to try more of the items they off.

The staff at the store I went to did a wonderful job and I will always go back as I could not ask for a better staff and the trays where so pretty.

Glenda

Now since this is a contest to and a chance to win a $50.00 "Subway" Gift Card follow the directions in the Raffelcopter. That's it, simple and easy like ordering sandwiches from Subway! Good luck!!!

and the cycle just goes on and on and on!

Eco-Foil offers a variety of products to choose from, including roasters, baking pans, and a broad line of favorites ranging from King Roaster® with handles (a Handi-Foil exclusive) to the Cook-N-Carry® line of pans with lids. All made from 100% recycled materials — even the plastic lids.Eco-Foil is the perfect eco-friendly choice for all your baking, roasting or grilling needs —and a great way for you to save natural resources and protect our earth, one pan at a time.

You can find Eco-Foil at major grocery chains and mass market retailers nationwide where Handi-Foil is sold. If your local retailer isn't carrying Eco-Foil yet, tell them you care — and ask them for Eco-

Foil products today!

Today I would like to tell Bree and also the people from Eco Foil as I was able to try out some of there products. I must tell you I had already used them before I did the review and I was in Love with the products. But even more so after I seen the ones they sent for me to review. Even my husband was impressed.

We do a lot of dinners in the apartment complex we live in and we have been able to use them for a lot of the events and the people that where at the dinner Loved them as well.

One of the things I Love is that they come in different sizes. They are sturdy and hold a lot. I like that they come with lids and you can see through them.

I also like that I can freeze in them. I can allow my son to help carry items to the table without worrying about him hurting hisself.

So if you have not tried them Please do as I must say they will make your life so much easier.

Friday Make Your Own Coupon Organizer - Money Saving Secrets Blog | Money Saving Secrets Blog

I keep saying that I am going to start to use coupons but then I always come up with reasons as to why I am not doing them.

I do not have the money for a paper but I can buy a coke.

That's not a reason that's being stupid.

I do not have time to cut coupons.

Why don't I? I sit outside for 5 hours a day with Charlie.

I have no way to store them. Why don't I? I have binders and bags.

I do not know how to store them. That's crazy.

So now that I have listed all the reasons I have not been using them I am going to change this and I am going to use this post I found and I am going to make me a binder and then on the first of the month I am going shopping and I can not wait to see how much I will save.

The money I save is going to go put up for Christmas so I can buy David and Charlie something.

So my goal on my first week is to save at least $25.

Do you think I can do it?
