Update On Coinstar~Article

As a mom who seems to collect change I use this machine quite a bit and I was so excited when I found out that it is now linked to Pay Pal. The only downfall so far for me is the fees. So since I found another bloggers thoughts on it I thought I would share her post with you to see what you think about what she has had to say.

Using Coinstar to Withdraw Funds from My Paypal Account, So Easy!

I have used Coinstar many times to cash in our spare change as I am
sure you have. But did you know you can use Coinstar to access your Paypal
account? You can add funds with coins and cash directly to your Paypal
account. You can also withdraw funds from Paypal right there at your local
Coinstar machine!

It is so easy to use this Paypal service at Coinstar. To try it out we
headed to Brookshire's. Brookshire's is a local grocery store. Yes, I know
I cut off the B...oops!

To use the machine to withdraw funds you simply choose the Paypal option and
then choose which function you want to use. I'm going to be withdrawing
funds from Paypal. That's Jeremy's hand...not mine!

After that you simply enter the email address you use with your Paypal
account and then your password when prompted. Once you have done that it
will tell you the fees and restrictions.

One thing that I wish was different is that service fee. I think it is a
bit much and would definitely keep my use of this feature to a minimum.
Also the maximum withdraw limit is a little low in my opinion. I hope that
Paypal will lower that fee to be more comparable to using my banks ATM.
That only runs me $1.50.

When you enter your withdraw amount it tells you the total with fees included.

Once you have done this it will print out two receipts. One is for your own
records and the other is your voucher. You take the voucher to customer
service and they give you your money.

It's all super simple and is a convenient option.

You can view all the steps that I took like entering my account info, fine
print reading, etc over on my Google+ album.

You can learn more by following

I have been paid (at Coinstar’s request) to try and blog about

Coinstar’s products/services as part of a Collective Bias shopper insights study.
