Buying the House

When I bought a new house it was all up to me all of a sudden – I guess I just wasn’t expecting that part of being a homeowner, you know? I get to make all the decisions about décor and all the utilities, too. I went to cannonSatellite.com for satellite and I had to pick a security system to keep the place secured. The thing I’m most excited about is making a decision about getting a dog – I can’t believe it’s time for me to finally get one after all this time! I’ve been wanting a lab or something for years and since I’ve always had roommates I just didn’t feel like it was fair for me to put that on them. I’m just really excited about being in charge of this place and putting money into something other than my rent. It’s nice to have some direction but you know, it’s going to be a good challenge for me to really flex my creative muscles. I can’t wait to see what I can come up with!
