Guest Post Karren Haller~ Aspirin To Remove Stains

Recently I was reading a magazine about using a simple aspirin to remove stains from clothes,
ok, I thought it was only for headaches, well I had to go research and found this short video that
explains how to underarm stains with aspirin.

Then you can also use aspirin in your wash to whiten your dingy clothes, here's how!
But first what is aspirin made of: acetyl salicylic acid Hub Pages I found many uses for aspirin, besides headaches to include, an amazing facial with aloe vera, exfoliate foot scrub, white collars, is used in acne treatments, fresh cut flowers, and the list can go on.
And here are a few websites that I will share for more details
Pinterest

Remove sweat stains from t-shirts
Restore hair damaged by chlorine
Pimple First Aid
Keep cut flowers fresh
Treat dandruff
Ease mosquito bites and bee stings
Treat fungal soil infections
Prevent fungus in compost
Remove grass and nicotine stains from hands

Kids Casseroles

Another good meal for kids

Source: parents.com via Karren on Pinterest
Since good meals are hard to fix that are tasty and tempting to picky eaters, when I found this recipe I that it would be a change of pace for macncheese, and Charlie calls monkey cheese.
The recipe is Tortellini Casserole and I found the recipe on the Parents Magazine Website
A great resource to help with raising your children.

Chicken Fingers for Charlie

Since Charlie is so picky about food and getting him to eat protein I found this Chicken Fingers that he will eat, and its easy to fix for a nutritious meal for him.  You can find this and many other recipes for your family and picky eaters at Betty Crocker

"Cooking With Wiggles"

Hello, and welcome to "Cooking With Wiggles"

How was your week? Did you and your children cook together this week? If so Please share with us what all you made. Charlie and I did not get a chance to cook this week as we have seemed to do nothing other than run from here to there. I am hoping next week that I can sit down with him and make some different foods.

I am thinking that since we did a picnic lunch last week and we all made our own hotdogs that this week we might make some appetizers and invite the neighbors down to the courtyard to eat with us.

I am thinking of making Biscuit Pizza, Mini Corn Dogs as I found a recipe for this over on Real Mom Kitchen http://www.RealMomKitchen.com which looks really yummy and this is something he actually eats. Then we can also make some Edible Mud as I found a recipe for it on Cooking With Kids as I am sure he would think this is just "Yummy". Plus I can actually allow the other kids in the complex to help us make this.

The other thing I learned is to let children help make French Fries as I saw a post over on Shopping For Savings and she made Roasted Potatoes Shapes and since I am trying to make sure he knows his shapes this would be good to do as well.

Can you help me with what else I should serve. I need drinks so Please send me your thoughts on this. I also need some fun foods adults would not mind eating at this event. Do you have any suggestions?

New Home~Moving Day

Hello, everyone how are you today? It seems like forever since I have sat down and wrote anything for her. I am so sorry about that, but life has been changing daily and I can not even stay up with it.

I am not sure if I had mentioned this or not but we are moving. This was not something we had wanted to do but we had no choice and so I have been scrambling to find us a place. I started to think Charlie and I might be sleeping on the streets.

But God lead me to a apartment in a side of town I would not have normally looked into. But by this time I was open to anything and so when we drove by them David was like, we could look here.

I remember thinking I do not want to live here. Not that the apartments look bad but it is even further ot from where we live but closer to Davids work. So he drives through the complex and we see a play ground and Charlie is like, let me out.

So we stop and I let him go look while I go into the office, while I am in there getting some information he was outside making friends. So I come out and I tell David that I am going to go and look at a 2 bedroom and I will be back, he and Charlie decide to walk with me.

Once we walked in it felt just like home, it is huge and it downstairs, thank you Jesus, as carrying bikes and scooters upstairs is no fun. Then we go back to the office and I find out there is a pool and a baby pool for Charlie. Yahoo! Here we have nothing for him to do.  There we have everything!

sit down to fill out a application and she starts to tell David some of the things they offer like a free movie club on Wed. for kids, they feed them breakfast during school and in the summer lunch and breakfast, plus they have a boys and girls club Charlie will be able to attend, twice a day. Yeah I can work now.

Not having a car I was worried we would not have any where to go but, I am up the street from McDonald's, a movie theater, a park and a pool. I am so lucky and blessed, God was sure taking care of us.

Now tomorrow is the move and I am sad as I am leaving all my friends but more excited as I have lots for Charlie to do and all the neighbors from here are planning on visiting. So I would like to say thank you Lord for taking care of us once again.

Zoo Cups Review

I am one of the people who grew up on Dixie cups and so when Charlie was little I was always buying them for him for his bathroom as they where easy for him to hold.

As he has gotten older he always ask David and I for a cup like we carry our coffee in and I am always telling him no.

So the other day I went to grab him some more cups for the bathroom and I found these cups. I like the designs on them and I thought Charlie would as well and he could take them outside. If you have not seen them they come with a lid and bendy straws and he thinks they are like what David and I carry and so he Loves them. he and I fight over the elephant one.

These would be perfect for either girls or boys. You get 12 cups so these would last a full week which is what I like as well.
Plus there are bowls and cups that match it and if you collect box tops this has one on it.

You can see them at http://www.zoopals.com They are made by General Mills and 100% recyclable.

Creative Steps {Review} #KarmaMedia

I am someone who loves magazines and can never stops buying them for myself. So now my son has started to pick up my habit and when we go to the stores he always wants to look at the magazines.

He loved car books but I have been showing him, there is all types of magazines he would like if he would take the time to look. So when the two books I got from Creative Steps came in I was so excited to sit down and share them with him.

We spent hours looking through them and deciding on things we can do. I can tell you these are a new favorite in our house. The covers of the books are so appealing and Charlie loves all the pictures that fill the inside of the books. I have even found him sitting down and reading them to his self which is nice.

Another feature of the book I like is that it shows items we can do for crafts in his school as I am going to start working with him on a daily basis as he can not attend school right now as he is too young.
One of my favorite projects that I saw was the Cling Film Painting as Charlie has been asking to paint everyday and so this will be something new we can do as a family.

Another feature I like, is that they offer a list of books I can get for Charlie and a lot of these are new and not ones I had heard of and so this will turn into a trip to the library for us, which is one of our favorite things to do.

Another site of the magazine I like is that the ads that are included are for things I can actually use with my son such as Tidy Books http://www.tidy-books.com as it would be neat to have a shelf in his room that he knows are his for his books and they would not be stacked in the closet which makes it hard to get to them.

Another thing I can say is if I was a teacher in a school or a day care is that I would want the staff to have these books in the supply room so we could all use them, as there is so many items in here that we would never have to wonder about what we would do with the children. I also like the fact that you can subscribe to them.

Gothic Innocence Review Giveaway

As a child I can remember my grandmother getting read to leave for church on Sundays and there is not one Sunday that I can think of that she did not pin her Cameo to her blouse. So when I found out I would have a chance to review one I was excited as it was like I would have a part of my grandmother.

The thing is though these cameos are different from other cameos as they have fairies and skeletons and dolphins. I wish I had been able to get the dolphin but it is OK as the one I got was on a pink background which was my daughters favorite color and I knew she would be with me as I wore it.

It also had a skeleton on it and my son thought that was neat and so I found I actually wore it more than I thought I would as he was always asking me to put it on. I even showed it to a friend of mine who is Gothic and she really liked so with her Birthday next week I now know what I can get her as she is hard to buy for.

I am even thinking of getting them for my niece and step daughter as they are both 17 and I think they would enjoy them. Plus Gothic Innocence has over 40 styles to choose from I can pick them more than one out and they can mix and match them. I just can not wait to see what they would put them on as I can imagine there back packs would be covered with them.

Soon they will have a website at Gothic Innocence and I hope you will go by and visit and if you do please let them know, Mommies Point of View sent you. Let me know which pieces you like the most please.
