Hello, I am Glenda Cates the owner of Mommies Point of View.
I am married to David Cates Junior. We have 1 son Charles Wayne Cates. Charlie is 7 fixing to be 8 in December. We have 4 dogs a Rat Terrier Sandi and a Chi Weenie Lucy, Max a Mutt or Heinz 57 and Thor a White Lab and Great Pyernese. We live in Haltom City, Texas. Which is 30 minutes away from Fort Worth in one direction and 30 minutes from Dallas in another direction.
David is a Red Neck at hear. Hunting and Fishing as well as Cusses are things David does on a daily basis. But he has a heart as Big as Texas. Along with a Beer Gut or any other liquor or Red Bull he can get. David works hard for a living as a Dirt Pusher for Sunset. David loves sports, movies, and old cars. He has started exercising more as he has a Over sized Heart. He will be 50 this month.

I graduated from Haltom High School and went into marketing where I spent 10 years as a assistant marketing director. I also have been in advertising, and ran a Radio Show. I am passionate, caring and love kids. I love to read and swim. I home school Charlie. I walk 5 miles a day if not more. I plan on joining in a 5 K soon. My friends and family are my life. I love to read. Garage sales, and playing Soccer.
I am a volunteer in my sons school and with Boy Scouts, Big Brothers and Sisters. As well as help in Charlies Church. We are on a Soccer team and I am Team mom in any Sports Charlie does.
My hobbies are blogging, reading, swimming, shopping and spending time with my Charlie.
Charlie reason Mommies Point of View as it was created as way for me to stay connected to the outside world while being at home with my son.
We enjoy the outdoors and play many sports but his favorite is soccer.
Charlie is all Boy. Soccer, Bikes and Fast Cars. Wrestling is something he eats and sleeps for. He loves all animals. Especially Frogs. He is compassionate, smart and loving. He is a Dare devil and would give you the shirt off his back.
