Help! Help! I "Live" with Dr. Jeckell and Mr Hyde (Mommies Rant)

Help! Help! I "Live" with Dr. Jeckell and Mr Hyde.

OK I thought parenting got easier as we got out of the "terrible twos" which by the way Charlie was excellent then. Then we hit 3 and it is is a little rocky. So now we are at the 4's and Please put on your "Crash Helmets" as you will need thim for this ride. Most days if I could get by without I would put him on "EBay. He will be so good then at the drop of a "pen' he turns into a monster child. The saying most parents say is I hope your child gives you as much trouble as you gave us is giving me nightmares because if he is this way now what happens when he turns 16?

I Love him more than life itself but like I tell him a "million' times a day or more I do not like you right now. You might be gasping with that comment but you do not live in my house. I have him in counseling as there is some things going on where we live that is affecting him and I know this so Please do not think I am not trying to get him the help he needs.

So as he sleeps I am wondering which child will wake up today my sweet "Loving" little boy or the other child I do not know. All I do know is I "Love" him no matter which one it is.

So this past week I have been searching other blogs to see if anyone else has these types of days and I found a article on "Tales From The Nursery" The Mommy Mindset Toddler Discipline and I must say these ladies all helped out quite a bit and so I am brand new followers of them all and I look forward to learning so much from them. If you have not visited there blogs Please do and let them know I sent you.

Christmas Shopping?? Yes I did!!!

Who would of thunk it?? Not I. Only I was able to do that this weekend with Charlie and now I am done. Stick a fork in me well done. All I have to do now is wait till it gets closer and listen to what he wants Santa to bring him and go and get it. You see I went to Kohl's this weekend to pick up some clothes for him for a event we had to attend. When I got there they where having a three day sale. So I picked him up some clothes and a blouse for me too. My blouse was supposed to be $30 but I caught it on sale for $13.

Our total bill was $175 and all we spent when she was done ringing it all up was Drum Roll Please $75.00 and you take the $50 Gift Card I had gotten for Christmas we only spent $25 and I ended up with a shirt and Charlie got 3 shirts, underwear and a pair of jeans. I did good. So good. Pat me on the back good.

Only that is not the icing on the cake I went to the Disney Outlet store yesterday and I walked into a clearance sale on all of the cars items. If you know my son you know Charlie is obsessed with Tomater and so I was able to get all of his Christmas from David and I. Yahoo one person done and many more to go. I also did get my mil a Coffee Cup though as well.

So here is what I got with the prices and sale prices as well.

I Coffee Mug with Goofy normally $9.50 but on sale 2 for $12.00
So I got a Eeyore one
The 6 piece set of Monster Truck Mater normally $24.50 on sale for $9.99
Tomater Coffee Mug for $8.50
Disney Unidentified Mater $19.99 and on sale for $3.99
Washabi Tomater $19.99 and on sale for $3.99
Disney Drag Story Mater $19.99 on sale for $5.00

Lightening Mc Queen for $16.50 for $3.99
2 T Shirts normally $16 a piece on sale for 2 for $20.00
Before sale prices $ 186.97 before tax
Sale prices $ 76.45

Grand Total of savings: 110.52

YAHOO Happy Dance for me!!

So in two days I saved $ 185.50

I think this is Pretty good as it is going to allow me to take a min vacation with my son.
We will be booking a hotel for 2 days to go swimming.

If husband gives me these kinds of incentives then I may just have to start to use
coupons as well as I can pay for a new blog design and also another mini vacation
for Charlie and I in a couple months.

As my friend Jamie saves over $7,000 in a year.
She just took her family on a Cruise to Mexico and last summer they went to Disney Land
on her savings.

So I am telling you I am excited and I am ready to get started saving.

Make Your Lunch More Delicious with SunChips 6 Grain Medley chips!

Make Your Lunch More Delicious with SunChips 6 Grain Medley chips!
I wanted to share a letter I got from Frito Lay with you all:
We hope your 2012 is off to a great start! This month we’re celebrating Leap Day, which brings not only an extra day to our year, but also an extra lunch to pack as you head to work, school or to meet up with friends on Feb. 29.  We know what you’re thinking: Packed lunches tend to get dull as we get a little older and when we’re trying to eat a bit healthier. But we’re here to change that because we think eating better should still be delicious!
As a loyal chip-loving Frito-Lay fan, we’d like to offer you one of the first opportunities to taste our deliciously different SunChips 6 Grain Medley Parmesan & Herb flavored multigrain snacks, which are sure to add some deliciousness to your Leap Day lunch.
That’s right, this new member of the SunChips family packs 21 grams of whole grains and 4 grams of fiber per serving into a crunchy snack with a distinguished parmesan and herb flavor -- making them not only super scrumptious, but a snack you can feel better about eating. We think they’re the perfect complement to your grown-up lunch box.
Since SunChips 6 Grain Medley chips are just hitting store shelves now, you’ll be the talk of the lunch room as one of the first to try the flavor that will have you waiting anxiously for the clock to strike noon.  If you’re interested in being a taste trendsetter, we’d love to send you:
  • One week’s worth of SunChips 6 Grain Medley Parmesan & Herb flavored multigrain snacks
  • A SunChips eco-friendly lunch bag (made from biodegradable cotton and canvas)
 Facebook and Twitter!

Ok................
Once these chips arrived I had trouble keeping them in my home.
I had 2 neighbors share a bag and they "Loved"them. Then my husband came home and he "Loves" Sun Chips so he  grabbed a bag as well and ate them and then wanted a 2nd bag.
I was like no those are mine and Charlies so he wanted to go to the store and buy some. He is worse than a 2 year old. I then tried to get Charlie to try them but because they have a green
leaf on the bag he refused.

But once I poured my bag into a  bowl he could not wait to try them and he also likes them and  is even willing to get some more even though there is a leaf on the bag. I also tasted them and I Love them. I will be purchasing some for a dinner part I am planning, If you have not tried them
Please do.

Mommies Point of View is having a Growth Spurt!!

Mommies Point of View is having a Growth Spurt!!

As a Blogger I know we all have growing pains as we try to figure out what is and is not right for our blogs. This is what I have been working on the past couple of weeks. I keep going back to you need a "Niche". As soon as I think I find one something comes along and changes my mind for me. I Love being a parenting blog as I like to share the things I learn as well as things that relate to my family. Is this a "Niche" probley not. Then I thought I might become a "Homeschooling" blog but once again I am not sure i fit into this "Niche". Coupons I do share them but is this my "Niche" no. So once again I am struggling. But I have finally come to the conclusion that I am going to be who I am no matter what and if that leaves me without a "Niche" then I am sorry but at least I am happy.

I do know one thing though you will see many changes on her in the next couple weeks as I try and clean the blog up and get rid of some things and try new things. One of the things I plan on doing in finding someone to redo the blog for me as I am not happy with the design. So if you build blogs Please contact me and let me know your prices. Also let me know if you would consider bartering items in exchange for the design.

I know I have set days as to when I am going to be doing things on the blog now so let me share with you my new schedule and if I leave items out you would like to see on here Please contact me to add them.

The only way Mommies can get better is if you all help me.
