If you are looking for a "Blogging Planner"

I would like to encourage you to visit Blogging With Simply Stacie. She has taken the time to compile a list of places for us to visit and chose the one that works for us. To read more about simply Stacie and her site please visit http://mommiespov.com/blogging-planner/

Mamavation Sistahood, Have you checked out the site yet?

I know many of you are already active Members of the Mamavation Sistahood, but for those who aren't yet, I highly encourage you to pledge and join us.  Whether selected to participate in the challenge or not, you signed up for this (I think) because you are wanting to challenge yourself to live a healthier life or want to inspire others to do the same.  In either case, the Mamavation Sistahood will provide you the foundation and support that you will need and come to appreciate.

To join is simple - start with some basic information here http://www.mamavation.com/how-to-pledge and then link up a blog post on our weekly blogging carnival.  Great news - a new one JUST started.  Don't forget to check out ourMamavation Monday post as well if you need ideas on what to write about.

There have been a few changes, and we think you'll be very excited. Omron is giving each of the 25 selected bloggers a pedometer and a scale for the purpose of the challenge. At the end of the challenge, each blogger will then receive their strapless heartrate monitor. This means bloggers will now be given $280 worth of equipment in addition to compensation in the amount of $300.

There will still be winners of additional cash pay outs for 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize.

Full details on this update can be found here: http://www.mamavation.com/2012/12/omron-strapless-heart-rate-monitor-fitness-challenge.html

OK I need new shoes for the whole family.

http://strk.enlnks.com/aff_c?offer_id=385&aff_id=3564 With winter right around the corner now seems like a good time to purchase some but I have never looked online for shoes so I need all of your help. Where do you purchase your shoes from and why?
For my son I would like some work boots and for my husband I need the same but they need to be
steel toed. I think for me I would like a new pair of sneakers and I usually buy Scheecers but I think
I would like something different. What would you suggest?

Have you heard of Shoe Carnival? I found them and thought I would check them out as they offer
both in store and online sales as well. If you print the coupon out and bring it into the store you
can find out if you get $5 or $10 or $15 off your purchase. If you shop online and spend at least
$39.98 then you will get a surprise savings  that is applied at the checkout.

So whats keeping you from checking out the site at: http://shoecarnival.com/

As a business owner I was excited to find out that UPS now alerts us before our packages arrive.

I Love this as I am able to leave home now and not worry about the packages I know will be delivered when I am not at home and so this will allow me to know when a package is going to be delivered as I can make arrangements with the manager of the apartment to accept them for me and she will not be stuck in her office waiting. Become a member now.  http://strk.enlnks.com/aff_c?offer_id=385&aff_id=3564

iChoose2 to Love My Life

When I sat down to read  iChoose2 to Love My Life  I noticed that it was small enough to put into my purse plus it is  a bright and colorful book that draws you in.

The book is well  written and organized so well that  you know that you have made the right choice for a year long journey towards  change!

I love reading this book and  I shared it with my friends in the apartment I live in as it has helped me stay accountable in doing the work and to change the way I need to.

Every  week I am introduced to a new way of thinking.

Knowing there is exercises to help with this has made a huge difference in my life.

Plus I like knowing there is places to make notes. T is wonderful as I can take the book with me and read it and  work when I take my son to his play dates.

I live in a apartment where there is a lot of ladies and even men struggling and so I would love to have the apartment order some of the books for the ladies and use hold a class where we share the things we learn through the books.

If we did this then I think some of them would be happier and less stressful. I think they would change the way they think about things and there lives would become better.

Knowing this course is going to help me with the fact  that this book takes you through each area of your life –mind, body, and spirit – and that it is  pertinent to purposed living, which helps  you see the area as they  should be and the work  you need to do  to get to that point.

With this I can see my friends her changing.

For me iChoose2 to Love My Life has helped me to see my life in a new way and has helped me with my journey with God on many new levels.

The IBloom book will  be a part of my daily time with God.

When I found out that I was going to be able to become one of the ladies in the group and to receive the book I was so excited.

I could not wait for the book to arrive.

I JUMPED at the chance to a be a part of spreading the message of living the life as I knew the ladies here in my apartment complex needed this so much that I thought I would be able to help them out.

Knowing  Kelly was going to be a part of this   an awesome vision made me want  to be included so much more and when I was chosen I was so excited.

I shared the book with everyone I knew.

As one of the nice part  parts about the iBloom team is that they believe in networking and having a good time in the Lord and I want you to experience this firsthand.

I think that this is even going to help me with my blogging this year.

The iBloom team is having a New Year’s party http://ibloom.co/2013party like no other and this is my special invitation just for you!

The ladies in my apartment complex will be attending and I hope you will as well.

So join Kelly as well as I  and the  other ladies at iBloom.

As we  want YOU to be a part of a party where you will be inspired and equipped to begin living a life you love in 2013!

You are invited to grab a copy of the book iChoose2 to Love My Life for $10 or join without the book.

The goal is to SIMPLY BE THERE http://ibloom.co/2013party– book or no book- because it will be a blast!

But I can tell you you should order the book as it will help you so much

I know having the book in hand can and will  make difference in your  life.

The $10 you invest in the book will be the best $10 you spend all year and having  the book in hand will be one of the best things you have ever done for yourself.

Plus  you can’t beat that cost for entrance to a party that will  change your world.

This event will   help you in your thinking and being!

Will you  join us  as we I   value you and your presence in my   life – online and offline!

I would love for you  you to experience what I see  being a part of the iBloom community!

So come on…

Order you book now and meet us at the party.

 You will not be disappointed.

Home Schooling Can Be A Great Choice For Young Children

With Charlie not being able to attend school this year I am struggling as I do not want him to be behind when he starts next year. I am trying to decide if I should put him in Kindegarden or move him into first, If I do first I know I am going to have to really buckle down and work with him. My thing is I am not sure what all he should know to start either grade.

So then I go back to if I did Homeschool I could teach him at my own level and teach him what I would like for him to know. Like Praying. Which is a big thing in our home. So I thought I would share the following article with you and then ask you for your thoughts Please.

Homeschooling has become increasingly popular in recent years. Over the years there have been many arguments regarding home schooling. Experts say that there are advantages and disadvantages when you homeschool your child. Many feel that the disadvantages are far outweighed by the advantages and opt to home school their children as opposed to sending them to a traditional brick and mortar school.

The reason many families prefer homeschooling is because of the diversity. Parents get to choose which curriculum their child uses depending on which home school route they take.

There are free homeschool option where the family is provided with everything the child needs to learn including a great curriculum depending on which state you live in. There are also low cost options where the child doesn't receive books but instead does every single lesson on the computer.

There are virtual private schools as well where the parent pays for the education the same as if their child attended a traditional private school. This choice would only be a problem if the family was unable to afford the monthly or yearly payments. A parent could even opt to a hire tutor that comes out to the home to teach their child. However some parents decide to go it alone and come up with their own curriculum after doing some research.

Each family has to make the choice best for their child. Just as all children are not the same there is not one clear cut way for home schooling. Many of the options could work if applied properly.

Homeschooling can enhance the families relationship as they spend more time together learning, sharing and growing together. Parents will spend more time with their children. For families who are having a hard time communicating, parent and child will learn to communicate even better with each other. Communication is very important and will improve as both parties speak and listen to each other often.

Homeschooling parents feel good knowing that they can watch their young ones blossom as they learn in a safe environment. In particularly violent neighborhoods home schooling can be a safe way to ensure your child a good education.

Homeschooling doesn't mean that a child has to be anti-social as the parent can plan fun educational trips as well as meet up with other home schooled children and their parents. Arts and crafts, music and gym can also be done at home. If they parents get creative they can create a wonderful experience for their child.

Some public learning environments might not be as conducive for learning as the child deals with situations that could affect them socially mentally and academically. It is much easier for a child to learn in calm stress free environment.

This is not to say that all traditional schools are bad learning environments because there are some great brick and mortar schools out there depending on where you live or if you can afford the tuition if it is a private school.

If you are going a costly route with your child's home school education you may find that you can cut back in other ways to accommodate your new budget.

Homeschooling can be a wonderful option for you and your young children. You can even continue their home school education until they graduate from high school if you like.

Glenda

I hate trying to get Charlie to brush his teeth.

It is like fighting a match in the Wrestling Ring. When ever I say it is time he finds a thousand reasons why he can not. When I am finally feed up and go into the bathroom with him  and pick up the toothbrush he decides to do it himself. Only I am not sure how good a job he does. I try and try to help him but he will not let me.

I can not depend on David to help out though as he is as bad as Charlie is. This makes me so furious as I am trying to teach Charlie good hygiene and I feel like David is hindering me in the process.

I try and show Charlie why he wants to brush his teeth at least 3 times a day as he does not want his teeth to end up like mine. You see when I brush my teeth they end up bleeding. They are also breaking in places and I would hate for Charlies to do any of this but I am afraid it will happen as no one in my family or Davids has good teeth.

We all visit the Dentist like we should but they just say we where born with weak teeth and they will be sensitive and we need to be careful when brushing. They also say that our Gums may recede as well which I hate knowing.

My parents and Davids all have false teeth and I am too young for them but if I am not careful I am going to end up with them as well. I hate knowing this but I do know it is true.

So I am always looking for items that can help me with receding gums and when I found this toothbrush I thought it would make a nice gift for David and Charlie and so I am going to be purchasing some of them soon.

The site is called http://periclean.com/order-periclean/

The Unnamed Dental ProblemWhy Does Tooth Enamel Care Matter? Why Does Gum Care Matter? What Does Your Dentist Use to Clean Your Teeth?

I am not a sports fan and never will be.

But when you have a child that changes as they want to play sports. So you find yourself at games you never thought you would attend. You end up cheering louder than anyone else. You have withdrawals one the season is over.

This is what my dad used to say when my brother was playing baseball. I thought my dad was crazy. I hated those days that he had to play as I was made to go to support him. I was not allowed to play I had to sit and watch the game.
