God opens a door when your not expecting it!! French Toast

The past couple weeks I have been struggling with the Blog. I was wondering if anyone even reads what I write. Or if companies even notice. Then out of the clear blue sky I received a email on my blog from Julie Reis. Mrs. Reis is with French Toast which is a children's clothing store online. They offer School Outfits and so much more.

French Toast

So once I returned her email I was allowed to chose 4 items for Charlie to try out. As well as host a Giveaway on my blog. So I thought I would show you the four items I chose to review and once they arrive Charlie will do a Fashion Show for us and give us his thoughts.

It was so much fun checking out French Toast site that I was going to pick out the items myself and surprise Charlie. But I decided that I would let him help me chose what he would like to try. Now we have not told David that clothes for Charlie will be arriving as Charlie wanted to surprise David.

So as we was on the site we found a pair of Dress shoes Charlie fell in Love with. Because his first year of school my mom and dad bought him a pair. He called them his dancing shoes and is still wearing them. So he chose them for the review but I did not get them as I want to purchase them for him for Christmas. As he does go to Church and they will be perfect for it. But I thought you might like to see the ones he chose and the ones I liked. As he wanted something different than what I chose. But that is OK as he is growing up.
Classic Slip-On (Matt)                  Comfort Shoe with Action Sole (Cole)
What I chose is this pair.                                           Charlie chose this pair.

Then I chose Socks as I knew Charlie would like the style and color of these I found on French Toast.

Sport Stripes Low Cut Socks 6-Pack

As well as this Belt. Which I was so happy to pick out as Charlie has no behind and also no waist. Charlie is so skinny it is hard to find pants and shorts that fit. But we will not have a problem now that we have this fun belt. I like that it comes in a couple different colors and that they have more than one style because I will be purchasing more of the belts in the Future not only for Charlie but for my Nephew as well.
Braided Belt
Then I chose a pair of Track pants for Charlie. Because these have always been his favorite type of pants. As he says they are not hot. Plus they are more comfortable than Jeans. I picked out a blue pair. But I know if Charlie could he would like a red pair as well. As he loves red. Which is natural as it is both my mother and mother n laws favorite color.

Track Pant

The last thing we chose was a pair of shots. It took a while to pick out a pair as Charlie could not decide which pair he wanted. Then when he decided he could not decide on what color. But that was OK as it gives me a ideal of some items to order for his Birthday and Christmas as well.

Belted Cargo Short

So if you have boys and girls do not let "French Toast" fool you because it says school uniforms. Because Charlie does not have to wear uniforms in his school and we still found plenty of clothes he would like to have. Plus I found quite a few items I will be purchasing to give as Christmas Gifts for the Children in our family.

If you like to shop online like I do the site is easy to navigate. I like that they have a variety of payment options including paypal. So what is stopping you? Check out Frech Toast now and let's get your "BACK TO SCHOOL SHOPPING" done now!!!

So once again I would like to thank Mrs Reis as it has helped us as we was not even sure we would be able to purchase one outfit for Charlie and now thanks to French Toast and Mrs Reis I have a clothes for Charlie and I know he will be the envy of his friends.

Alphabet Zoo is a personalized book I received for a review.

If you have not had a chance to check out the site called  Little Heroes at  http://www.littleheroes.com/ and you have small children or you are a teacher you should as the books they carry are awesome. I was sent Alphabet Zoo from them and I must tell you it has become one of Charlies favorite books as it has not only him inside it but his Aunt Debbie and Cousin David. These are 2 of his most favorite people in the world and so I knew this would make a nice Gift for Charlie. Once it arrived I sat down and read it to both Charlie and David and they both where surprised to find out that it had them both in it. When I was reading it I noticed at the top of every page the letter we would be learning so the next time I read it to Charlie I am going to point the letters out and have him right them at the same tine as it will be good practice for him. Showing him his name in the book has helped him with learning to spell. This has made teaching him easier and I would use these books with anyone I home schooled as it not only teaches reading but also writing. When we where reading Alphabet Zoo there was animals in here I did not know and so David and I as well as Charlie took the time to look them up on the internet. Which was fun as we where all able to learn things together. So even though this is a children's book it taught David and I both something. Here is where you can check out there line of personalized preschool learning books

When I am able to the next book I would like to get for Charlie is either The Obnoxious Dragon as Charlie can be this way. Or the The Golden Goal as Charlie loves to play Soccer.  There is more I would get for him but this is a start.  As she loves the Disney Princesses and this is my favorite one.

I also found some books I would like to get for the little girl I watch Baby J as she is about ready to learn her abc's and she loves to be read too. If I could I would get her this one called

Glenda

Camilia Teething Relief

When Charlie was little and teething I used to look for products that would make him more comfortable and I could not seem to find anything to do that. So when I started to watch Baby J and she was teething I knew I wanted to find items that would help her be more comfortable. So I found a product called Camilia Teething Relief. I am so glad I did as it has helped out so much. Plus it is safe and has no harmful side effects. I like knowing that there is 15 doses in each package and that it is a liquid as it is easier to use than some other items I have tried out. Also knowing I can use it every 15 minutes is great. Plus I can use it for up to 9 times a day but I have never had to do that. Usually one time is plenty.

Boiron camilia teething relief helps with painful gums and irritability. This product is homeopathic medicine and is safe with no side effects. It works naturally with your body.

Koverz, Kidzikoo, Kooleez Now sold in Target's!!!

Today I would like to talk to you about a fun new site I found and it is called My Kidzikoo http://www.mykidzikoo.com/. You may ask what would a store called My Kidzikoo sell and this is what I will share with you today. They carry three prducts that all moms will need at one time or another. The first product is called a Kidzikoo and it is a Baby Bottle and Sippy Cup Holder.
The second product is called Koverz
The thirs product is called the Kooleez
So as you see each of these products are different but that they cover every age of a child. Plus they are products that would make a moms life so much easier. I know when Charlie was little if I had known about the Kidzikoo that I would have never been without one. Now that I am helping out with Jaquelin I am going to show these to her Aunt so she can show them to Amanda as I am sure Amanda will want to get her some of them. Knowing Amanda she will even buy one in every style. The reason I saw this is they do not like Baby J as we call her to get dirty. She can not even play in the dirt. They will also like it as it will keep her hands from freezing. Plus I think Baby J would like it as it is soft and easy to hold on too. I like knowing it fits most 8 to 12 ounce bottles and sippy cups. With me knowing several moms who will be having babies soon I think that these would make a nice shower gift.
The next product I would like to talk to you about is the Koverz as it is for a Sport Bottle. Since Charlie and I live outside and I am always making him carry his bottle of water with him I was excited to get this for him to try out. As soon as it arrived he went and grabbed him a bottle of water and he used it. Charlie liked it so much that he even wanted to take it outside to show his friends. Then they wanted to know if they could have one. I took mine with me when Charlie and I went to the park to meet friends and Baby J's Aunt Shannan meet us and she also liked it. Shannan has decided she would like to order one for her and her family. So I was glad to know this as now I know what I can order them for Christmas.
The last product I was sent was the Kooleez and I must tell you it was my favorite out of everything we where sent. As it holds the Popsicle that you get in the store and freeze. Charlie and I are eating these all the time in the summer and he ends up so sticky and messy that if we are outside at the park we have to turn around and come back home. Now we will not have to as we can take these with us. Since I end up with a household full of children in the summer I am going to be getting a lot more of these for them as well. I also will be showing this to all the moms in the apartment complex as I think that they should check into them as well. I can tell you they will save me time and laundry. So as you see Koverz has items for every age of your babys lie as well as products that us adults can use as well. I hpe you will take the time to check out the site today at http://www.Koverz.com

Here is a set of cards I was sent for Charlie and I must tell you I did not even know they carried these but I was so excited when they arrived as Charlie is getting into art so much. This is going to help us with his school work. As he can draw when I am working. Plus it will give him and David something to do together as well. Since I can not draw at all it will make it easier on me as well. You see as I can get the cards out when Charlie is ready for me to draw with him. It is will help him learn to color in the lines. Plus it will allow us to work on the different shapes. Even thought these are Christmas Stencils we will use them through out the year. Plus we can share them with his friends. The nice thing about the First Stencil Cards is if Charlie likes them as well as I think he will I can order him some more as they have different sets. I saw a set for the farm which I know he would love. I also saw My First Stencils for animals and this is one me and his sister Leslie would like. So if I order it for him I can have her come over and spend some time with him and they can use it. The nice thing is I can host a Online show and everyone I know can come and shop and with there purchases I would be able to get Charlie some free books and this would make it so nice as I could add to our school. Since some people might not know which ones to get him I could even help him create a Wish List that we could send to everyone including Santa. So if you would like to make Santas shopping easier this year them Please check out Usborne Books at: http://e3981.myubam.com/p/1291/first-stencil-cards-christmas The next book we where sent is Thas's Not My Snowman. I liked it as it is small enough to pack in a bag when we go out. Charlie liked it as it is blue. He also like that it is a touchy-feely book. Once it came in and I sat down and showed it to Charlie he wanted to take it straight over to two of his friends who he thought would enjoy it as they are a little younger than him. Riley and Shannan both enjoyed the book as did there children and they are thinking about creating a Wish List. Shannan is even going to share the website with her sister as she home schools her children. So Charlie and I would say if you have not heard of That's Not My Snowman that you should check it out at:
This delightful series of board books is aimed at very young children. The bright pictures, with their patches of different textures, are designed to develop sensory and language awareness. Babies and toddlers will love turning the pages and touching the feely patches.
This is a David and Charlie book as I do not do bugs. At all. No way. PERIOD. LOL Charlie says I am so funny when it comes to them as no matter what type of bug it is I squeal like a girl. I tell him I am a girl. But he says no I am a "MOMMY". So go figure. LOL Anyway I like our 1001 Bugs To Spot as Charlie loves to be outside and it allows us to carry our school out with us. Plus it helps us decide what bugs we see. I like the cover of the book as it is so pretty. Plus on the cover it tells us which types of bugs are inside the book and on what page. Charlies favorite section is 4 giant millipedes. If you had David choose he would chose 1 thorn spider. As for me the only ones I would like is anything to do with Butterfly's. The thing I can tell you though is that every child here loves to get this book and go out and look for bugs. So for Christmas I am going to get Charlie a bug finding kit. This will keep him busy for a while. Another reason I enjoyed the 1001 Bugs To Spot is it will help with Charlie learning to count and anything that will do that I am all for. The last book we where sent was the Big Book of Big Machines
I knew that this book would be David's favorite as he has drove a lot of the machines in the book. So it was fun to see Charlie and David sit down and go through the book and watch David tell Charlie about all the machines. Charlies favorites was the Bulldozer which lead to David telling Charlie why he enjoys Bob he Builder and why he is called that. So with this book it brought Charlie and David much closer and I enjoyed seeing that. It was so nice. I think out of all the books we where sent that the Big Book of Big Machines was my favorite as it also showed me a sign of David I do not normally see. So if you have not heard of Usborne Books I do hope you will take the time to check them out at: http://e3981.myubam.com/p/991/big-book-of-big-machines Once there set you up a E Show and make a Wish List and come back and share it with me Please. WOW it is so hard to believe but Charlie will be 5 a week from today.

So since Charlie decided he wanted either a Transformers or a Wrestling Party he and I decided to spend some time today online searching for items we could use for his Birthday Party. We had so much fun when we where shopping as we went over the last 4 years of parties he had and he thought it was so neat that each year I would go out of my way to make it special for him. So for something fun and different I let him shop on a new site I found called Party Pail and i let him pick out the items he would have wanted each of his 5 Birthdays to have been if he had been able to chose on his on. The 1st Birthday he said he would have chosen Cute and Curious George 1st Birthday Party which was nice as his sister loved Curious George and so it would have been like she was with us. I liked knowing that it was a Monkey as love Monkies. When we where on the site I let him look and make sure they had everything he would need to go with this Birthday theme and he found the following items: invitations, cups, plates and napkins. The things I loved and would have liked to purchase was the Cake Cup toppers and the candle as it is just too cute. Adorable Jungle Monkey Candle Favor The Monkey reminded me of Charlie as it is all mischievous looking like Charlie.
I know that if we had used this Theme for Charlies 1st Birthday it would have been perfect and a lot of fun. What we actually had for his Birthday though was a Charlie Brown red Baron party and it was so much fun showing Charlie the pictures from it. His second Birthday was Monster Cars and so he did look on party Pail and they did not have Monster cars. He did find some for a construction party and he said that those would have been fun. I thought this was neat as I actually did a party with his dad a Construction Party one year before Charlie got her. With Charlie finding that out he was so amazed and thought it was so cool. If you would like to see those invitations you can view them at Under Construction Party Supplies http://www.partypail.com/under-construction-birthday-party.html Then he decided he wanted to see what they would have had for his third Birthday as his cake was custom made and it was a 18 Wheeler or a Semi Truck to match his grandfathers truck Barney. So he looked on the site and he said that he would not have minded having Harley Davidson Invites
So then we finally got to his 4th Birthday and he remebered it and that we did Lightening Mc Queen cupcakes and he said he would not have changed it for anything in the whole world as it was his favorite party ever and he did not want to look for anything to take its place as he wanted it to be just as it was at the party. I then asked him if he wanted to look for invitations and things for this year and he said no as his granny and his sister Leslie had picked out the perfect items for him for his Birthday. So as you can see if you are a child, a adult or a Bride you can find everything you need on Party Pail to create a perfect party. Right after Christmas is my friends nieces party and Jaquelin is going to be one and I can not wait to share this site with her Aunt Shannon and help her pick out the perfect invitations for her 1st Birthday Party. If it was me I would chose this one as I loved it. Home > Birthday Parties > 1st Birthday Party Themes > Her Highness Her Highness Party Supplies Everything on sale - 50% off Tableware!
So as you can see no matter the age from the 1st Birthday through adult with Party Pail you can plan and hold the perfect party. Glenda

Charlie's Belt from Hero HuggersPowerCapes.com I HeroHuggers.com I Tutufabulous.com

Charlie is getting so much taller each day that I keep having to go up in size in the pants he wears and because of this his pants do not fit the way they should. They are always sliding down and he hates it. As well as David and I. So when I was looking on the Internet for items I could get him for Christmas I immedialtely thought of a belt. So I found the Power Capes and I knew that I would like get Charlie a cape as I thought he would like it as he is always using my towels to make capes. So I started to look around on the site and I found some belts for him and I was so excited as I had been looking and looking for a belt and could not find one for him anywhere. So today I would like to show you the belt I picked out for Charlie. It is called the Kids Hot Rod Kids Belt The belt was the perfect size when it arrived. I like how the design is so fun and upbeat. I also like that they come with 2 different closures to chose from. I chose the Velcro one for Charlie but the next time I am going to get him the Skeletonz Kids Belt and order it with the D ring as I want Charlie to learn how to operate them before he attends school as it will make him feel so much more grown up. I think the belts would make nice Stocking Stuffers as there is both belts for girls and boys and so many different styles that there should be one for every child on Santa's list. If you have been looking for a belt for the little ones in your household I hope you will check out Hero Huggers soon as I am sure you will like them as much as my family and I do.

Rock n Baby Boutique 2 cars t shirts for Charlie

Have you heard of Rock'n Baby Boutique???
http://www.rocknbabyboutique.com

Cars, Lightning McQueen Tie Shirt or onesie's!!  You might ask why I would be shopping on a babies site when my son is 5? They carry items for Charlie as well as for any child. When I took the time to browse the site I found quite a few shirts that I would not mind getting for Charlie as they are different than the types he usually wears. Plus they are different than what all of his friends wear. I was sent the Cars, Lightning McQueen Tie Shirt. When this shirt arrived I wanted to give it to Charlie right away but I knew it would make a nice Christmas or Birthday Gift, so I put it up so he would not see it. Then on Monday he and I where both having a bad day because neither of us felt good, so I went and got him the shirt. When I did I was so glad as it made him smile. You see he and I where both sick with the flu but all it took was the T Shirt from Rock'n Baby Boutique to make Charlie fill a little bit better. When I ordered the shirt, I ordered the size he would normally wear, but I was told I should try a 7 as they run small. I am so glad she let me know that as it fit Charlie to a T. The hard part was getting him to take it off so I could wash it!! Everyone says they love it and wanted to know more about the site I got it from, so it was fun showing them the website for Rock'n Baby Boutique as some of the moms have daughters and they found things for them as well. I was sent a second shirt as well for a review but I am not going to put the picture of it up as Charlie has not seen it yet and since he is always around when I am working I will wait till I give it to him. I can tell you though he is going to love it. It is another black T Shirt with a red racing car on it. It has a Tie as well. I did show it to David and he loved it and wanted to give it to Charlie right away!!!

When you are on Rock'n Baby Boutique take the time to look for items for you as well,  as I found some things I would like to have such as the
Black Minky Dot Throw
Since I stay cold so much of the time and I always have blankets in the living room,  I thought this one would be pretty to keep in there. Plus I think it would be nice and soft. As well as very warm. So I am going to show it to David and let him know Santa could bring it to me and I would be a happy camper.

Did you know Rock'n Baby Boutique even carries furniture? That is what brought me to the site as I saw this Blue Stuffed Chair with a Ottoman.
Can you see Charlie kicked back in this chair watching his wrestling match? Telling David and I to bring him his Monkey Cheese and Doggy Beer? Charlie would think he was grown up as he would have a chair like his dad's. I think it would be fun to get it and put it in my room for when we are reading this way we do not always have to climb up into the bed.

Check out this contest that you can enter on a monthly basis. Every month Rock'n Baby has a photo contest on there Facebook page. Today I would like to talk to you about a site that is fun and can save lives.

This wonderful new site I found is called Fun Kinder and you can find it at http://www.funkinder.com

First of all I must tell you that I was so excited to stumble upon this site as Charlie is always wanting to ride his bike and he does not watch out as much as he should.  Leaving in a apartment this scares me as you can not always see around the cars to know who is coming in. Plus the ones who do do not always follow the speed limit.  Plus  we do go out at night I was always worried in the reflectors on his bike would be enough. As I lost Suzzane due to a freak accident and it was not even dark when she was crossing the street. Suzzane was even in the crossing lane when she was hit. The guy says he did not see her. So if it was still light and he threw her 47 feet. This what would happen to Charlie if he where hit by a car.  So to know that Charlie rides his bike in the parking lot I cringe. So I decided I would contact Fun Kinder and see if they would allow me to conduct a review on some of there reflective clothing. The reason I did this is David uses this type of clothes at work and it is supposed to keep him safe and I thought it would keep Charlie safe as well.

So I wanted to share part of the email I got from him on why he started this company and why he and I connected so much. This kind of tragedy is one reason we came up with our idea. We felt that our son needed more safety when he started riding his bike on the streets with us and we couldn't find anything for kids except on rain gear. My kids wear our clothes 24/7 and even I wear it myself because it makes me feel safer. People do NOT drive well here in the States (sorry, I am from Germany and driving school is around 40-50 hours with an instructor) and do not pay attention. Driving has become secondary to texting and drinking coffee. Well I guess I am preaching to the choir.

You see he took the time to check out my blog and he came across my daughters story and I could see he cared. Knowing this was so nice. It  meant even more to me as it was also the day my son was in the ER and he took the time to ask me about it. I even found out he is from Germany and so is David. We discussed home schooling as we both do this. Then we got onto the subject of Soccer and he gave me some ideals for Charlie.

I liked knowing he is a dad who stays at home with his children. I wish David could do this but at this time it is out of the question. Someday though I hope it will change and he can stay home.

In the meantime I would like to tell you about how kind he was to me when I asked to review some of his items as he let me to chose what I would like to review. I told him I would like a jacket for Charlie and so he gave us the best reflective jacket that they carry.  If you would like to see it you can through this link http://www.funkinder.com/VisiFun/by-Garment/Toddler-Polar-Fleece-Jacket.html The jacket I was sent is red and grey. These are Charlie's favorite colors and they have a Iguana on them. I tried to put it up for Charlies Birthday as it is right around the corner only Charlie  saw it and since it was chilly yesterday and we where going out at night I let him have it. It fit him like a Glove. I could not even get him to put a shirt on under it as he decided it would be his shirt. Charlie  loved that it had the Iguana on it. Charlie also liked knowing that it had the reflectors on it like the vest David  wears to work. Charlie  went around the complex and showed it to everyone and everyone wanted to know where we got it. I loved being able to tell them to check out Fun Kinder  at http://www.funkinder.com/VisiFun/by-Garment/Toddler-Polar-Fleece-Jacket.html
for there children as they also ride bikes at night  and I think every child as well as adult should have some type of reflective clothing. For my family we all have caps and Charlies jacket.

Charlie is blessed as he has a hat as well. Only he does not know about it yet. But once he sees it he is going to flip. I know he will like it as it is black and has the Iguana on it to match his jacket. It is so nice that no matter where we go he will be able to wear if. I like that I can make it bigger or smaller. I will be buying some of these as gifts as I know so many children who can use them. I think they should be sold where ever bicycles are sold. If you would like to check out the hats you can through this link: http://www.funkinder.com/VisiFun/by-Garment/Baseball-Cap.html
Then he fixed a hat for David as well and it was special made as he said I could pick out a Sports team to go on it. So I asked for soccer and he did it. I love the design he chose for it. I also love that it  is black as it makes it look classy. The only qualm I have is if David will be able to keep it or will Charlie take it away from him.

Then he offered to make a hat for me so we would all be safe. He even asked me if I would prefer a Butterfly or some flowers and since both of them represented Suzzane to a tee I had a hard time choosing. Only I knew it would have to be a butterfly.   He did not even know that pink was her favorite color and it is the color he said he would make my hat. I chose the Butterfly design as this is how we refer to Suzzane as a butterfly flying free. I must tell you if Suzzane where here she would want to shop at Fun Kinder as well as she would love the reflective clothing and the  hat he made for me. I know I am going to love wearing it which I have not done as I have them all put up to wrap for Christmas as I think they will make wonderful gifts as I was not able to shop for David or Charlie this year. So thanks to Fun Kinder I have some gifts for my family.

FunKinderTM is a traditional family business. Our inspiration came with our first son, Janne. As most little children, he always has been incredibly active and we all love the outdoors. Having lived in the Pacific Northwest, the grey weather did not bother us. Every minute possible we spent outside either hiking or on a bicycle. When Janne learned to ride his balance-bike around the block, he was only 1½ years old. Our neighbourhood lacked sidewalks so we were seriously concerned about safety. As parents we wore reflective safety vests on grey and dark days, but Janne simply refused to wear the once we got for him. When we could not get vests in toddler sizes we were desperately trying to find reflective wear for children. The only available items were rain jackets, but even in Seattle, it doesn't rain every day and evenings can be nice and warm. So we were in need of clothing, which had reflectivity for safety and were comfortable to wear. That's when we decided to create a new line of children's reflective clothing . Janne, his little brother Jelte and all their friends love our FunKinderTM clothes, not to mention the parents. All kids that are out at dusk, night or dawn could benefit from the extra safety with attractive designs of our reflective VisiKidTM and VisiFunTM clothing lines. May it be on their bikes or skateboards, waiting for the school bus at the curb or simply walking across a parking lot. A foggy summer day in San Francisco? With our high visibility clothing lines VisiKidTM and VisiFunTM you'll be noticed. Later additional ideas evolved and our line, NameTeez, was born to provide attractive personalized wear. How did we come up with the name FunKinderTM? In Germany, where we came from, "Kinder" means kids, so FunKinderTM was a natural choice. Thank you

Aqueduck If you have a litle one who can not reach the sink try the Aqueduck.

Here is a picture of the AqueDuck and the handle they will be coming out with in December.
I am always having Charlie wash his hands and when I do I have to get up to help him as he can not reach the sink. So with the Aqueduck I do not have to get up quite as much. You see it hools onto the fountain and brings the water out to wear Charlie can reach it. I like that it is made of plastic as it will not hurt his head. I also like knowing that he is able to put it on the sink by himself so it saves me time. I also like that it is blue and yellow as blue is one of Charlie's favorite colors. I can tell you that I would buy these for my friends with small kids as I know that there moms would appreciate it. I think they would make nice gifts to give at baby showers. I am going to put these in some of the children's stockings as I know that they will enjoy it as much as Charlie has. I have even showed it to the lady in my office and she has said she will be purchasing one to keep in the restroom up there. I think it would be nice if schools and church had them. Also restaurants as Charlie would be able to go to the restaurant by himself if one was there for him to use. I do know that it is small enough that I could carry it with me. I also know it would fit in a diaper bag. So as you can see this is a new and great product that you can get a lot of use out of. if you do not believe me then I hope you would believe Rachel Ray as she had it on her show. So if it is on her show I know that it would do what it says it will do and that it is something we should check into. So know now only have I used products that Oprah promotes but Rachel as well. This is so fun and so exciting. If you have not checked out Peachy Please do as you will find lots of products like this wonderful and cute Peachy's Eco Bag Glenda
