Dear Santa Charlie, would like this.Ty Beanie Babies - Wrinkles the Dog - Retired

My son woke up the other day and asked to go and visit Santa and so I took him. I thought he would ask for some Wrestling items only he asked for a "BABY BULLDOG". Not a stuffed one he said but a real one as his puppy Lucy needs a friend. 

I can tell you this is not something he will get. But I did get him the stuffed one above.

Men can't live with them, can't live without them!! But David is stupid!!

If anyone would like to take him for a day or two I will pack his bags and send him to you. I have been wrapping non stop for two weeks. I also shopped all through the year and with the reviews and giveaways I did I was able to go and get both Charlie and David so many gifts that it looks like a store exploded in my house. I know presents is not the reason for the Season and Charlie knows this as well. But since we could not buy Christmas last year as David was unemployed I worked extra hard this year to get them both things they have been wanting.

I have been asking David to help me wrap for a while and he did one night for a hour. Last night when he gets home I tell him I need to run and grab some more tape and wrapping paper. While at the store he says I am not going to help you wrap just stick them all under the tree unwrapped. But this is not me I can not do that.

I do have Santa's items set aside to just place under the three but the rest I have to wrap and try and watch Charlie and keep him from seeing what I am doing as David is at work.

So if anyone would care to take a little boy and a man for a couple house I would be so grateful. As my friend Michele was supposed to take Charlie as I watched her two boys they other night so she could go out. Only she ended up working and can not take Charlie.

Oh well off to wrap and if he sees the Gifts I just may let him have them early. After all he is only 5 and something could happen and we may not be here.

Which is what happened to Suzzane the year I bought her her presents.

Christmas will be here and over before we know it.

I finished wrapping most of the gifts today and started to think about how soon it would be here and be gone.

Then I thought I should start to look for some Valentines items for the boys as it will be here before we blink.

So when I started to think about this I knew exactly where I would shop for Charlie as I wanted to get him a shirt with his name on it.

Original Sprout

As a mom of a little one I am always looking for products that I can use that will not harm my son in any way. You see Suzzane was so sensitive to everything that when I had Charlie I was so afraid he would be the same way only he is not. This is great but it means that he can use any products on the market and because of this people will just buy what ever for him and I do not like that. As some of the items that have gotten for him in the past has had harmful side effects they say. So when I was online and found this new site called Original Sprout I knew it would be something I would like to try out. I let my friend Shannan try this out on Baby J as she has sensitive skin and it did not bother her at all. Shannan said she liked the way it made Baby J's skin feel. She also liked that it had no added fragrance to it. I can tell you I would purchase this as a Gift for Baby J. I also let Charlie use it on his arms and I could tell that it made them smother. The Deep Conditioner was something I could not wait to try out as my hair is dry and brittle. It also likes to

Let me show you the ties I picked out for David and my brother n law Greg.

This is the tie I chose for my Borther n Law Greg. The reason I chose the Little Bo Peep Tie is because of the name as it was Suzzanes favorite nursery rhyme and I new it would make him feel close to her. Plus blue is Charlies favorite color and pink is Suzzanes favorite color and so when he wears it it would be like they where with him. Another reason I chose it is it is not to skinny nor to fat. Plus Greg owns a Grey Suit that I thought it would look nice with. Once it arrived I found that David liked it as well and so soon I will order one for him too. The material is very well made and it is soft. I can even see my Nephew wearing this tie.

The tie I picked out for David is called Fruit Loops  as this was one of his favorite cerals as a child. It is also one of Charlies favorite ceral or cigeral as he calls it.  I also knew he would like the colors in the tie. Plus he liked to be different from anyone else and this tie will allow him to do that. The colors will look nice with anything he wears. I can even see him in a nice pair of jeans and a white shirt with this tie one and it would look nice. I am sure if I gave it to him before Christmas that he would wear it to his Christmas Party only I am not going to. I wrapped it up and put it in his stocking for Charlie to give to him.

Barts Cookies

Today I would like to share with you some of the most wonderful "Cookies" I have ever tasted. They are called Barts Cookies and you can find them at:

Charlie and I both Love Chocolate Chip Cookies only I like Nuts in mine and he does not. So I ordered him a dozen of them. Once they arrived I did not think he was going to share as they where so good but he did. They where the perfect size for him. Some Chocolate Chip Cookies are hard and you need milk to dunk them in but not these. They where good without anything to drink. I did ask David to try them and he was just as impressed by them as Charlie and I where. I can tell you that I will be ordering some more of them in the future as they make such nice gifts.

The second dozen I got was for me as they where the
White Chocolate Chip + Macadamia Nuts
as these are my all time favorite. I was not dissapointed as they where so good. Moist and chewy. You did not need a drink with these either. David tried them as well and thought they where the best he had ever had. I even let Charlie try them as he does not normally like these cookies but these he loved.

I also want to  try out the Dark Chocolate Chip as Dark Chocolate is my sisters favorite and would make a nice gift for her. 

With Mr. Bart having so may variates I can find something for everyone on my Gift List. Which I like as I do not have to leave home to do my shopping.

Spiffy Kids Review and Giveaway

Charlie is always wanting to find new and unique clothes to wear as Charlie  and I hate knowing all his clothes match every other kid in our apartment complex so when I was online and I found Spiffy Kids I knew Charlie would like some of these as well as I did. So I contacted the owner and she sent me one for a review as well as a tote bag.

 Once Charlie saw the Tote Bag I knew David and I would not be able to ever use it as he would claim it. I was right about this as he uses it to carry his cars inside and outside in it. The tote bag is blue and this is Charlies favorite color. He also likes the picture on the tote bag. He loves showing his Spiffy bag to everyone he knows. I like the design on the tote bag as it says Scared and Charlie loves the little character on it.

Alphabet Zoo is a personalized book I received for a review.

If you have not had a chance to check out the site called  Little Heroes at  http://www.littleheroes.com/ and you have small children or you are a teacher you should as the books they carry are awesome. I was sent Alphabet Zoo from them and I must tell you it has become one of Charlies favorite books as it has not only him inside it but his Aunt Debbie and Cousin David. These are 2 of his most favorite people in the world and so I knew this would make a nice Gift for Charlie. Once it arrived I sat down and read it to both Charlie and David and they both where surprised to find out that it had them both in it. When I was reading it I noticed at the top of every page the letter we would be learning so the next time I read it to Charlie I am going to point the letters out and have him right them at the same tine as it will be good practice for him. Showing him his name in the book has helped him with learning to spell. This has made teaching him easier and I would use these books with anyone I home schooled as it not only teaches reading but also writing. When we where reading Alphabet Zoo there was animals in here I did not know and so David and I as well as Charlie took the time to look them up on the internet. Which was fun as we where all able to learn things together. So even though this is a children's book it taught David and I both something. When I am able to the next book I would like to get for Charlie is either The Obnoxious Dragon as Charlie can be this way. Or the The Golden Goal as Charlie loves to play Soccer.  There is more I would get for him but this is a start.  As she loves the Disney Princesses and this is my favorite one.

I also found some books I would like to get for the little girl I watch Baby J as she is about ready to learn her abc's and she loves to be read too. If I could I would get her this one called

Charlie and I and a bunch of friends got a letter from Santa today!!

I decided today I wanted to do something fun for the children in my complex and I am going to go online and create a letter from Santa that there parents can print out and keep forever. But for a couple of Charlies closet friends I went ahead and printed out the letters and then I put it and some Reindeer food in a small sack and went and hung them on there doors. Once they all got the letters all the kids ended up at my house to see if Charlie had gotten one as well. Since I wanted everyone to have a different letter I picked out ones that I thought would match them the best. The parents could not believe I took the time to do this and they have asked if they can come over to check out the site. Once they do I think they all will want to print out more of the letters. Plus once they learn I have 10 codes to giveaway I am sure they will share the site with there friends and family. I even showed the site to David who said he wanted to show it to his boss as he has a small child and he thinks that he would like to order one for his daughter. I know next year I will do the same thing as it is a fun tradition and it bring excitement into the children's lives which I like. I loved helping out Santa and if he would allow me to I would like to help him out next year as well. For Charlie I chose the letter for a child trying hard to be good. I did this as he has been having some isssuses lately and I wanted him to know Santa would not come if he did not change his attitude. I can tell you since he got the letter that he is trying to be extra nice to everyone. I just hope he keeps it up. Dear NAME, Ho Ho Ho from the North Pole! I can't believe you are already AGE years old, NAME! Seems like just yesterday I came to HOMETOWN and left that PAST GIFT under the tree! This year the elves and I have chosen something very special, just for you, and I can't wait to bring it to you on Christmas Eve. Now, I've checked my "Nice" list twice, and I see you have been a good GIRL/BOY this year. I know sometimes it seems hard to be good, but you keep on trying your best, and that is what counts! And not only have you been good for CAREGIVER'S NAME, you have been such a good friend to FRIEND'S NAME too. Keep up the good work. I am really proud of you! I think my husband should have been a trucker as he loves his Coffee and the stronger the better. David and my mother will sit in a Coffee Shop all nite and drink Coffee and talk to anyone who walks by. It drives me up a wall. My Uncle is the same way. He would live in the Waffle House. When they go they do not buy food just Coffee and talk and talk and talk. I swear my Uncle and David are worse than 2 women who have not seen each other for a month. So since my mom moved out of town and David works such weird and long hours I thought it would be fun to find some new and unique coffee companies for David to try the Coffee out from. This way he can stay home and have his favorite drink and we can save some money. So the company I reached out to was called Ponderosa Roasting Company and you can see it at When I was on the site I knew that I would find lots of different coffees David d would enjoy. So I contacted them and they where kind enough to send me a 1 pound package of Mistletoe Mocha. So once it arrived and David was at work I opened it and I made me a cup so I could try it out and then I put the rest in a pretty container that would fit in David's stocking. Even though David is the one who enjoys different flavors of Coffee and I prefer regular this was not bad. I did enjoy it and I would not mind buying it again. I think I would like to serve it at the Christmas Open House we conduct. The Coffee has a nice smooth flavor and it is one I know David will enjoy. I also like knowing they offer other fun scents for Christmas such as Christmas In A Cup and I am wanting to try it as well. What I am thinking is I will buy several different flavors and I will make up small Christmas Bags for Charlie to hand out to the neighbors with some homemade cookies as it will be something we can do together as a family. When I told them I wanted to try out the Coffee they even asked me if I would prefer Coffee Beans or for them to ground it for me. I had them Grind mine for me. I am so glad I did as it is easier this way. But for some of the neighbors I know the Beans would be OK. Medium Roast We sell most of our coffees as medium roast for several reasons. One being that much like wine each coffee region and estate has their own characteristics. With a medium roast, you are able to taste the different characteristics of the coffees we offer that create a distinctive flavor. Dark Roast This is where the coffees are not only a darker color but they are also shiny on the outside of the bean. This is due to the fact that as you roast coffee darker the oils that are in the coffee bean come to the surface of the bean. This tends to be a smokier tasting coffee. Black & Tan This is a 50/50 combination of the two above roasts. This means that you are able to get the characteristics of the medium roast along with the smokiness from the dark. Cars, Lightning McQueen Tie Shirt or onesie's!!  You might ask why I would be shopping on a babies site when my son is 5? They carry items for Charlie as well as for any child. When I took the time to browse the site I found quite a few shirts that I would not mind getting for Charlie as they are different than the types he usually wears. Plus they are different than what all of his friends wear. I was sent the Cars, Lightning McQueen Tie Shirt. When this shirt arrived I wanted to give it to Charlie right away but I knew it would make a nice Christmas or Birthday Gift, so I put it up so he would not see it. Then on Monday he and I where both having a bad day because neither of us felt good, so I went and got him the shirt. When I did I was so glad as it made him smile. You see he and I where both sick with the flu but all it took was the T Shirt from Rock'n Baby Boutique to make Charlie fill a little bit better. When I ordered the shirt, I ordered the size he would normally wear, but I was told I should try a 7 as they run small. I am so glad she let me know that as it fit Charlie to a T. The hard part was getting him to take it off so I could wash it!! I did show it to David and he loved it and wanted to give it to Charlie right away!!!
