Melt Ice Cream

With Summer here I am on the lookout for new places to take Charlie and I am bound and determined to do something new each weekend. So since we all love Ice Cream the other day when I was going through my emails I found out about a new Ice Cream store in Fort Worth.

The store is called Melt and I can not wait to take both Charlie and David as they love Ice Cream. Now before you say anything I know Ice Cream is not on my diet and I do not have to get anything. But if I do one scoop would not be bad because the rest of the month I would not have any dessert.

So have you heard of Melts? Have you been? If not would you go?
954 W. Rosedale Street, Fort Worth, TX 76104

Melt Ice Creams is the brainchild of Fairmount resident and photographer Kari Crowe-Seher.  If you haven't made a visit to her cheery little yellow ice cream heaven you've been missing out on the some of the most flavorful and well crafted cold treats in all of North Texas.  MELT is a craft ice cream shop that makes American classic ice cream using fresh and seasonal fruit for made-from-scratch sauces and compotes. Translation: They don't run a mill, rotely cut cookies or line up to assemble anything they sell. Instead, Kari and her team push the envelope of creativity to produce unique, creamy concoctions like no other, anywhere.

Listen to their commitment to process:
  • MELT partners with local businesses to use quality ingredients that are created with passion.
  • Our regular menu consists of six flavors that rotate monthly, with a special offering on most Saturdays.
  • We make caramel from scratch and hand-stretch our peppermint.
  • We use organic herbs like basil and rosemary to make better-tasting natural ice cream.
  • We toast nuts to bring out their aroma.
  • We boil down balsamic with fresh berries for a tangy flavor.

Melt exists to serve happy ice cream, one scoop at a time. We believe treats can change your day and your day can change the world.

So we invite you to meet Kari and the entire Melt team as you enjoy a root beer or beer float from Melt Ice Creams!

Mommies Point of View Christmas Gift Guide Avon

Today I would like to showcase one of my Christmas Gift Guide Sponsors. This is another Avon Rep. You may ask why I would have 2 different Avon Represenitives in my Guide and so I would like to explain to you why.

I am in Texas and this is where Deborah is located and so people who want a local rep. can shop with her. She was kind enough to send me her Bubble Bath to try. Then I have Trakelia Jimerson who I will be hosting a review and a giveaway as well. In this feature I would like to share with you some of the items that Avon carries and share my thoughts with you.

Today's products that I would like to share with you all is: Argean Oil treatment For luxuriant hair, discover the secret of Moroccan Argan Oil. 5 healthy benefits, 1 nourishing treatment: - renewed strength - instant shine - irresistible softness - smooth silkiness - weightless movement Formulated with argan oil, provitamin B5, and vitamin E, it helps to nourish and smooth dry, damaged hair. Leaves hair looking softer and healthier. 2 fl. oz. My hair has a tendency to break and it flys away and it is also brittle. With this product it helps keep it shiny and it does not break as easily. it does not make my hair greasy which is a plus. If you have not checked it out. Anew genics eye care Some women never have to lie about their age…their eyes do it for them.

Now eyes can look 5 years younger.* Genics Eye Treatment with Youthgen™ Technology is designed to help skin cells act younger. Undo 5 years from the look of your eyes.* Diminishes the appearance of fine wrinkles and fine crow’s-feet.** Eye area feels re-energized and restores the look of youthful brilliance, remarkable smoothness, definition and elasticity.* To Use: Every morning and evening, smooth around eye area .5 oz. net wt.

I can tell you this is on my wish list as I am getting older and I hate the way I look and so I really want to try this out and see if it can help me. I am 45 and soon I will be taking Charlie to school and I do not want to look like a old hag and so if this can help me look and feel better about myself I will be buying it all the time. I will also be purchasing it for my sister as she has lost so much weight that it makes her look older than she is and if she can look and feel better about herself I would like to help her with this.

The item I Love is that you can submit a work at home story and it will be published for free.

So not only is it a work at home site but it offers you a way to be seen for free.

Before you ask yes you can share your blog on there as well.
