Weight loss switch from Slim fast Shakes to HydroxyCut Drop

For the past couple months I have been using Slim Fast and I couldn't tell if it was working or not Plus sometimes it bothered my stomach a bit as it was made with Milk. Which Milk bothers me so I am not saying it was the Slim Fast. But the taste of the shakes was good and it did not leave a after taste. Plus I could fix it and take it with me. 

So this week I decided to try out HydroxyCut as I had heard a lot of advertisements about it. Plus I did not want to take any pills and I was tired of the shakes. So I found out they have Drops I can add to water which I was so happy to find out about. 

So this week I have been drinking it twice a day and I am not sure I am losing any weight yet. But I plan on using it for the next month to see what happens. Plus I like that it comes in Fruit Punch which is what I had purchased. Plus if I end up tired of it there is also a Wild Berry Flavor I can not wait to try out. 

David has even said he may try this with me as he wants to lose weight just as badly as I do. So today I will be sharing HydroxyCut's site with him as I want to show him all the different products as there is a couple more I would like to try out. 

Plus it has recipes on it that we can try out. As well as showing us how many Calories we burn if we do certain things. Plus it shows us how much water we should be drinking which I have been doing as I have a application on my phone. But David doesn't so know he can use the website and see what all he is doing.

Plus to make it more of a family program we can all look up how much water we need to drink as well as the types of exercise we do and how many Calories we are burning and Charlie can track it for a month to see what he is and isn't doing. This will help him stop sitting on the couch all the time. Which I will be so excited to see.

We Love Laces Shoelaces

Charlie has always liked to be different than the other children in the neighborhood. From coloring his hair with spray on Glitter Paint.To finding the most unique and different shoes on the Market. Which includes putting in funny and different colored shoe laces to make his shoes different. As a lot of time kids in his class has the same shoes. So if he has different colored laces it will make his shoes stand out more.

So when I was on Giveaway Services and they had a promotion for We Love Colors I knew it would be something Charlie would like and want to do. Plus if they sent in colors I liked I would not mind using them as well. As I have in the past when Charlie has asked me to.

Now before you ask no, David will not use them. He is all black or brown or white depending on what shoes he wears. Although when he is sleeping Charlie and I could put some colored laces in his work boots but he would be furious. So it is easier to just leave him alone and for Charlie and I to do it on our own.

Or to get his Aunt Debbie to wear Colored Laces with us as she would. As Charlie has her wrapped around his finger and what ever he wants she will usually do it for him. Because he will only be little once she says.

They sent Charlie and I some Flourscent yellow ones that Charlie says will look nice in his Grey shoes. So once he gets up I will see if he wants to put them inside those shoes. As for the color it is different and not something I would chose for myself but I can see Charlie using it. Charlie says he likes it a lot. That it would be good for boys or girls. The second pair we received was blue and green and I knew Charlie would claim them for himself as he loves those colors. The length is the right size for his shoes. They are not to wide for the wholes. They are easy for him to tie. They do not come apart and I like that the material they are made out of as it would last a long time.

The last pair we received was Red and Yellow. Which reminds Charlie of fire he says. As for me Firemen. Charlie says they will look nice in his grey shoes as well. I let him put them in his shoes and he did not have any trouble doing it. I asked him to try and tie his shoes with them and he did. They did not come untied which I liked a lot. They are not to wide to go inside his shoes which I also liked a lot.

Butt Workouts by Chia Booty written by Mike Danford

I was sent a code to purchase  Butt Workouts by Chia Booty through AMZ Reviewers but the thoughts in the review are all mine and mine alone.

Butt Workouts by Chia Booty: Allows women to grow the booty we have always dreamed of. As it offers the best butt exercises and workout for women. It is a Kindle Book so you can take it anywhere with you.

I have been working really hard the past couple months to lose all the extra weight I am carrying around. As I think it is part of the reason my knee hurts a lot of the time. So as I exercise I pick certain parts of my body to work on and tone up. One of those areas I did not think about was my butt. As to me it it is just there and why do I care what it looks like. But the more weight I lose the more afraid I am that either I will end up with a huge butt or one that sags so much it hits the ground. 

So I was excited when I found Butt Workouts by Chia Booty as it would allow me to build my butt up so it would not do either of the things I think it might do. Plus I thought Charlie might like doing these exercises with me and I was right. 

We have only been using them for about a week but I can tell the difference as my clothes fit smoother. I do not take up as much of a chair when I sit down.  Plus my butt is not as flabby and it does not jiggle as much which I like. Even David says it looks much better and that he may need to try out some of the exercises and see what happens. 

I like how he breaks the book down into three different segments and that the first part does not call for equipment because at this time I just do not have the money to purchase Exercise items. Plus there is a section on nutrition and I must tell you we do not eat right in our home. So this section is helping us change that. As we are eating better and I am not as tired as I was. Plus I am losing weight in more places than just my butt. Which is awesome!!

There is even links inside the book that will take us to the places he is talking about. Which is great. The exercises are not to hard that I can not do them. Nor do they wear me out but I can still tell I did a workout which is great. As it leaves me enough energy to still walk my 10,000 steps and my mile in the pool.

So hopefully by this time next Summer I will be a much younger better tomned women. Who has a nice looking Booty that people will not make fun of when they see me coming. As I will be 51 on my birthday and I am not ready for a Rocking Chair yet!!

All in all I loved this book and will recommend it to my friends as well as give it to the ladies in my family as Christmas Gifts as we all can use some help in the Booty department.

Dawn Escapes Thai Dragon Fruit

David is the one who usually does the dishes as I am always working on the blog. Because he works at night and it free's me up to take care of Charlie making dinner and doing homework. So he loves Dawn Dish Washing soap and will just walk into the store and grab one. David does not care what color it is or how it smells. Now I am sure this is how men are. But it drives me BATTY!!!

As I am one who walks into the store and up to the aisle and I walk up and down looking for new products we have not tried. Or for a certain color that appeals to me. Or a certain scent I would like to try out.

Once I find something I open it and smell it. Because if it has no scent at all or has a soap scent I put it back and keep looking until I find one that I like. So know I have Charlie doing the same thing. Which drives David up the wall as it takes us twice as long to shop. But to me it is fun.

So the other day when we was in Kroger's David said we needed more dish washing soap so off Charlie and I go to find one we wanted to try out. David asked for something from Dawn. So Charlie and I looked and found a pretty purple/pink one called Thai Dragon. Which Charlie wanted to try as it is the color I like and it has the name dragon in the title.

So then I opened it to smell it and I liked the way it smelled. I had Charlie do the same thing as I want him to start helping with the dishes. Charlie says it smells nice. That it is not overpowering or a girly scent which is what he calls flower names and scents.

Once we got home David made a sink full of water for him and Charlie to clean the dishes in. It did not take much of the Dawn at all to fill the sink full of bubbles that smelled nice. Not overpowering and the scent did not bother any of us. We all liked it a lot.

I liked knowing it last 2x longer that other dish soaps. Plus it gets the pans squeaky clean and your hands are not greasy nor the dishes. I have even used it to clean the Stove with and it did a wonderful job on it. I caught Charlie washing his hair in it and once he was done it was soft and smelled so good.

All in all Dawn Escapes Thai Dragon Fruit makes me feel like I am escaping when I wash the dishes. This product from Dawn is something we will purchase again as we all liked it. It worked wonderfully and it helped us save money.

Zakias Moroccan Black Soap from Giveaway Services

This is a review on Zakias Moroccan Black Soap from Giveaway Services as they sent me a jar of soap and the glove as well as a Loofah for free of charge. In exchange for this review. But the thoughts in the review are all mine and Charlies.



Charlie is all boy but he loves helping out with the reviews I conduct. So when the package arrived from Zakias he asked if he could open it as he wanted to see what I would be working on. So once Charlie opened it up and I explained that it was a soap he asked if he would be able to take a bath and try it out. But since we was having company I talked him into washing his hands with it and saving the rest till tomorrow to use in the tub.

Which Charlie was OK with. So we went into the Bathroom and I had him scoop a little bit out onto his hands. The first thing he asked me was if it was mud. I let him know it wasn't. He then proceeded to smell it and said it did not smell bad.

Next I had him get his hands wet and rub the soap onto them and he started to see all the dirt come off into the sink and all he could say was man oh man was I dirty. I was like yes, you was. Once he was done rubbing it onto his hands I asked him what he thought of it and he said he liked the way it goes on and how much dirt it gets off. I then asked Charlie how it made his hand feel and he let me know it made them nice and soft.

I asked if he would like to try it out in the bath in the morning and he said yes, I would. Once he agreed he asked if he would be able to use the glove and the Loofah and I let him know he would be able to as I wanted to see how well it worked with both of them.

This may be the only time I am ever allowed in the bathroom with him as most of the time he tells me he is too big for me to come in with him. So this will be interesting as he may opt to go back to no, you can not come in with me only dad. So you will have to stay tuned to see what happens.

In the meantime I also washed my hands with the soap and I loved how well it goes on and that it is not greasy. I like knowing it is not a bar. As I do not like bar soaps as they can hold germs from everyone who uses it. To stop this from happening with this soap I will be getting  either a spoon or a ice cream stick to put some on each time someone wants to use it. So the container does not fill up with germs.

I love knowing they have many different varieties of the soap as it would make a nice Christmas Gift. As well as fun to have in our home for our guests to use. As you can use it daily and it will not harm your skin.

When I use it in the bathtub I will do like the reccomend and leave it on for at least 3 to 5 minutes as it will remove more of the dead skin as well as eas away stress. Which all of us have. Especially me as I am a mom, business owner and wife.

Movie Tavern is now showing these films in July

Movie Tavern is one of my favorite places to watch movies. Not that I watch them like I used to. But this Summer there has been a lot of new movies coming out that either Charlie or David want to see. But even me. So today I thought I would share these that will be coming out in July. Is there any on this list that you or someone you know would like to see? If so which Theater do you go to and why? What is it you like about it or that sets it apart from other Theaters? On this list I would like to see Paper Towns and Charlie has asked to see Fantastic 4, Ant Man and Mission Impossible. As for me I would not mind seeing Mission Impossible as it has Tom Cruise in it I think. Let me tell you that is one "SEXY MAN"!! David has said that he would like to see all the ones Charlie picks and that it does not matter which one he sees first as long as it is with Charlie and I. Live Happy Review

This is a review for a magazine titled Live Happy that I was sent to read. Before I share my thoughts with you I would like to let you know that I was sent one copy for free but that the thoughts in this review are all mine and my families. Not anyone else.



As you can see from the Cover the stories inside are appealing to people of all ages. I love the colors they used on the cover. As well as the title as it catches your eye. The people on it look so happy that you can not do anything but smile. Which I like a lot as I have been down this past week.

Once I was able to sit down and thumb through the magazine I found so many stories I wanted to read that I could not decide which one to read first. But I finally picked "Stan the Man" and I love it so much. I can not wait to look up "Stan the Man" and see what has happened to him in the years that have passed.

There is so many motivational quotes inside the book that fit both me and my family. As well as a lot of my friends. So I am anxious to share "Live Happy" with everyone I know. I also hope you will do the same and not only check out the magazine for yourself but share it with your friends and family as well!!

If you love to try out new and different recipes you should check out page 27 where I found a recipe for Summer Squash, Herb and Feta Salad. As it looks so "YUMMY"!! It would make a perfect addition to any Summer gathering!!!

Which he would do with this shirt.



So as you can tell "Live Happy" is a magazine not only did I enjoy but both David and Charlie as well. As I had them sit down and look through it and they found stories they would not mind reading. Which was nice as it gave us something to do as a family.

The High Heel Wrap Review and Press Release

Today I would like to share a fun new product I was sent to try out and review. Before I begin I would like to let you know I was sent a Heel Wrap but that the thoughts in the review are all mine and my families. No one else!!

Now I am not one to wear Heels due to my Ankle being weak from Breaking it a couple times. But my sister would wear heels 24/7 if she could get away with it. So once I saw the "Press release" on the Heel Wrap I knew it would be something she would enjoy. 

So once it arrived I called and asked her to come over and bring a pair of her Heels as I did not have any. Debbie kept asking me why and I said I just want to see a pair. So my sister being my sister arrived with 3 different pairs because she couldn't decide what to bring.

Which was fine as it allowed us to try the wrap out on a couple different pairs of shoes. So once she came in and sat down I pulled up the Press Release for her to read. I did not let her know I had a pair of the wraps as I wanted to hear what she thought. 

Just as I thought she flipped for them and wanted to order some right away. So once I heard this I handed her a envelope with a pair in it. Debbie immediately opened up the package and looked them over. Once she was done looking at them she started to put one on her show. As soon as Charlie say what she was doing he came over to help Debbie out. 

I was not sure if he would be able to get the wrap on right and that we would have to take it off and it would not work the second time. But this did not happen as he got it on perfectly. Once it was Debbie modeled that shoe. But Charlie wasn't sastified he wanted to see the wrap on all three shoes. So she took turns taking the wrap off and on on other shoes. Which it went on nicely. It did not come off at all. 

So on Sunday Debbie decided to wear it to Church to show the ladies as Church as they are always buying new shoes. Once she showed them the Heel Wrap and how it worked all of them asked for the website. So they could order some of the wraps for themselves. 

Debbie said that the husbands was excited to see the wraps as it would save them money on shoe purchases.  As the wives can switch them out and have a new pair of shoes each week. The only thing they asked that I could not answer was would they be coming out with more Heel Wraps.  Which I hope they do soon as I want to order a lot more for people for Christmas. 

I asked Debbie what she thought about them having a strap you can use or take off and she says she likes that a lot as it gives her more options when wearing it and makes it look like she has more shoes than she really does. 

As someone that always messes up the Heels on her Heels when I used to wear them I was excited to see these come with a Heel Wrap as it will help keep my shoes looking new at all times. 

Having multiple cushions is also a plus because if a shoe hurts your foot and you use these it would make it more comfortable. Plus the shoes may not slip like some Heels I have purchased in the past.

June 14th review Denton Natatorium and Water Works Park

David and I have always tried to make Sunday a "FAMILY Day"!!  Where Charlie is able to do the things he would like to do. As well as have his favorite foods. But the past year has been hard and we had gotten away from that. So with "SUMMER" here I am trying to get back into that habit.

So on Friday we asked Charlie if he would like to go swimming and since this is his favorite thing to do in the world we knew he would say yes. But what he did not know was that we was going to attend Denton Water Works Park which I had taken Charlie to last year. Along with his friend Dylan.

So this year David and I decided to surprise Charlie and allow him to ask his friend Adain as I knew he had never been to a water park before. Plus knowing his mom Tammy I knew she would be so happy for us to take Aiden.



So this morning when we got up we checked the Weather and it said it might storm and when I mentioned this to Charlie he said no it is not. Because I have to pick up Aiden and we get to spend the day together. Which was nice because with school out Charlie has not had anyone to play with.

So we packed our lunches into the Coolers and took off for Denton Water Park. I figured I would hear are we there yet. Or move over your touching me. Or I need to go to the restroom. But instead all I heard was Charlie explaining Denton Water Park to Aiden and what all they would be able to do once they arrived.

So we get there and we are about 15 minutes early and I can tell you it was not only the longest 15 minutes ever for Charlie and Aiden but also for me.As I was wanting to get inside and into the pool as I had not walked this morning and I needed to.

So we go up and let them know who we are and a very nice lady escorted us to our Cabana. Once there she showed us how the Curtains work and let us know we could close it. Plus if we needed more ice to just let them know. Which I had not been told last year. Another nice touch was the 4 bottles of water we received.



So Aiden and Charlie immediatly ask to go into the children's play area. Where  they played and played. There favorite part was shooting the sprayers as they said it reminded them of a Gun. Plus they loved the slide.



Once they finished we went to the Lazy River and walked in it. I loved how the water felt. Both Charlie and Aiden loved being able to use Tubes in it. I can not wait to try one out next time. But this time David and I walked. I just wish I knew how many laps around it would make a mile. As this one is 3 times bigger than the one we usually walk in.



Once we finished here Charlie and Aiden wanted to go down the slides. So David and I took them over to them. They both grabbed a Tube and headed up the stairs to slide. I was amazed when I saw David follow then and say he was going to slide with them. As he had just gotten out of the hospital but he said he could not resist spending time with Charlie and playing with him and Aiden.



Once done here we ended up going inside and the boys tried out that slide which they loved. But more than that they loved the pool and seeing the Basketball Net. But they did not play as they just wanted to swim and splash. But they both said the next time we are there they want to play basketball. As well as try out the Diving Board as Charlie loves to Dive. But before we allow  Aiden to he will need swim lessons which I saw they offer. So I will be sharing this information with Tammy so she can bring Aiden if she wishes.



Once we was leaving I saw they host Birthday Parties and since Charlies is in December and it is hard to host parties outside this would make a perfect place for us to host his Birthday. So if you are thinking of hosting a party of any kind and would like a new and unusual place you should check them out.

All in all today was a huge success and I am hopping David's hours pick up and we can visit again before the end of the Summer since we all had so much fun. But if that does not happen for what ever reason I know they offer Season passes and I plan on purchasing one for Charlie for next year as one of his Birthday Presents!!
