At our local Bowling Center.
Since David was off yesterday and we could not figure out what we wanted to
do with Charlie as it was supposed to rain we took him bowling.
You see at the Church he went to with my sister they had a bowling game for
him to play and since then he has been obsessed
I must tell you it was so much fun.
First we go by to find out what time it opens and then we come back home to
eat breakfast and let me tell you I have never seen Charlie eat so fast in his life.
Once it is open we go back up there.
I tell him we need to stop and grab a pair of socks for him and I and my sister
Debbie as she came out to spend the day with us.
I get there and start to register us and all he can say is "Can I bowl yet".
He was having so much fun looking around.
I could tell it was going to be a good day.
That is until the lady put the shoes on the counter and Charlie decided that part of
them where pink and he does not where pink.
The only thing that helped with this is that Daddy also had the same shoes.
So he goes and puts them on,
Then David helps him pick out a bowling ball.
He was so funny as there where so many colors to chose from.
He wanted the black on until he decided he could not pick it up then the green one
the lady game him worked.
My sisters sets the machine up while Charlie takes his turn. Or should I say trys to
take his turn as Daddy has to give him some instructions which did not go over well.
Then he finally gets to go all by hisself and for a first time he does pretty good. He
knocked 8 pins down.
"WAY TO GO CHARLIE".
I did learn he is like me though as he is not patient and wanted to know when his turn
was all the time.
Other than that though we had a wonderful time.
Plus he bet me. Yes, he bet me as I let him bowl for me some.
Once we got home he was already asking to go back so I can say it was a hit.
I can not wait until next Friday to see how he does.
I can see a Bowling Birthday part in our future.
