I would like to share with you a "AHH HAW moment I had with "Charlie"

Last night was the first night of Vacation Bible School and Charlie was so nervous about attending that I asked him to at least go and see what it looked like. So we got to Trinity Baptist Church on Central and I signed him in. At first I was worried he could not attend as most Church's ask for you to be 5 or older. Only here they take them as 3 which I was so happy to hear.

We get to the door and I ask him if he would like to go in and look around and he says yes. I help him find hi seat and I stand next to him there is a little boy crying. I try and talk to him but the little boy would not talk to me. So Charlie tells him his name and I tell Charlie the little boys name is Alex.

Charlie sits down beside him and puts his arm around him and says I will be his friend mom. We will be OK you can go.

I am just melting by then. I stand by the door to watch for a few minutes to make sure Charlie does not change his mind. Then I sneak out.

I get out to the car and let David know he was OK and if he does not want to go back tomorrow he does not have to.

I pick him up at 7:30 and he can not stop talking about it and says I am going to meet Alex tomorrow night. I am his friend.

I was so "Proud" of him I could not stand it.

Then this morning he gets up and ask when he can go back.

I am so excited for him as he finally has some friends and hopefully a Church he will not mind going to if his Aunt can not come and get him.

Now come and share a "AWWW" moment you child has done.
