As most Bloggers out there I have decided I need to move from blogger but not knowing much about it I can use some help with this. Since I am not sure Santa knows much about computers and web hosting I am asking all my bloggy friends. What is the best site to use and why? Is it better to buy my domain name or not? What is a shared site? If I have more than one blog can I put them all on the same account? Is this a good ideal or not?
Once I move will I lose my followers? Can I change my Facebook and Twitter accounts to reflect this? How will it affect my page rank? How about my Alexa ranking?
Does anyone know if there is a class or a blog that I can check out that would help me answer some of these questions?

I use blogger and still love it! I did have a custom design done last spring that gives my page a fresh, unique appearance. It is user-friendly. Not sure why people leave blogger. I've never had a problem!

I also use Blogger and have not had many issues either. I have had a lot of friends leave, some are happy, some were not as happy as they thought. Like Karen I too would recommend using a pro, I happen to follow Karen and I loved her re-design, but if you want another name the woman who did mine was great, Ro Little of Mom Blog Designs www.mommyblogdesigns.com and she just recently moved her site from Blogger to Wordpress and she didn't loose her followers and seemed to have a better ranking, so I was really impressed and felt that if I ever was to embark on the change I would have her do it.
