It doesn't matter how big your blog is. It doesn't matter how old your blog is. The only thing that matters is that you can entertain us. We've got a scoring system in place that ensures that this is not a popularity contest, so it doesn't matter how many fans you have. For all the details on how to audition, check out the Try Out page.
Auditions will close at 11:59 PM CST on Monday, September 17, 2012, and the Top 12 will be announced on September 20, 2012. You can find the full schedulehere.

By auditioning, you imply that you have read and agree with the Official Rules for Blogger Idol 2012.
To audition, you do not need to have been a blogger for a certain amount of time. Open to US and Canada only.
To audition:
You must submit an application telling us about yourself, and WHY you think you are worthy of the title 'Blogger Idol' which must be between 250 and 500 words, and provide us with a link to your blog or website. Please do not include any images in your post.
Things that will be judged on your audition:
1. Ability to follow the directions stated above.
2. Likeability
3. Appearance of blog
4. Belief that you will appeal to the general public
5. Your reason for being worthy of holding the title 'Blogger Idol' for the next year.
