Homeschool for children who are 4???

OK I need help her Please.

I am trying to teach Charlie at home.

I am using ABC Mouse and we Love it.

We also are using some work books I was able to purchase.

Only I know we need more than this as Charlie is already getting tired of these items and it has only been a little over a week.

So can anyone tell me what they use Please.

We are working on the ABC's and the letter a this week.

Plus the number 1.

Do you have any crafts you can share with us?

How about sites that you go to for ideals?

Thanks, Glenda

NickJr.com has some awesome crafts! Paper Airplanes (Team Omizoomi), which can be used for the letter A, etc.

Read to him a book a few times a day. Ask him questions about the story and objects used in the book. Ask him where the tree is, what color is this or that? You can also use play doh and make things and see if he can copy what you made. Even using the metal cookie cutters to make things with play doh is great for his mind and motor skills.

Break his schooling up into 2 to 4 sessions a day, whatever works for you. My kids do well sitting at the table, if it's something they are really interested in, for about 30 to 60 minutes! They are almost 5 and 3.

Stick with ONE letter and ONE number each week. Then make a theme around them. Letter A, Airplanes, Apples, Abby Cadaby from Sesame Street, things like that. http://pbskids.org/sesame/#/printables

Teach him Colors, Shapes, A, B, C's, and numbers to 12 or to 20. Up to you. Watching Sesame Street, Sid the Science Kid, and Super Why on PBS are awesome teaching shows.
