California Wine Club

To me wine is a fun and unique Gift to give to those on your Christmas List that you know enjoys a drink every now and then. This is why I was so excited to be able to try out California Wine Clubs services. You see David is a beer drinker but more than they he loves his wine. He has always wanted a wine cabinet. Now that we are in a bigger apartment and there is room for one I may find one for him for Christmas and sign him up for the Wine Club as this is not something he would think anyone would get him. I also think this would make a nice gift for my daughters big sister Stevie and her husband Keven. They where not really Suzzane's big sister but someone we meet through Big Brothers and Sisters. Even though Suzzane is now gone Stevie and I still meet a couple times a year and exchange Christmas Gifts. Since I know they drink I think this would make a nice present for them. I was sent a Robledo Tempranillo that David really enjoyed. He has said that he would like to see if it is avaible in the local stores as he would like to serve it on new Years.  If you have not heard of this brand of wine Please check it out at http://www.robledofamilywinery.com I like knowing that this bottle of wine helped him and his 7 sons live there dreams. I can tell you that I think this would also make a nice gift for a teacher after a long day of teaching.

The second wine I was sent was another bottle from Robledo and it was a Sauvignon Blanc and this one was my favortie. I liked it as it was a White Wine and since  I prefer whites to reds this one was my favorite. I think this one would make a nice addition to my Thanksgiving Dinner. I can tell you that I would ask Santa for this. I love knowing that as part of the California Wine Club I will be able to try out more of the wonderful wines that they carry.
