As a mom of several step children from my husband David. I can tell you that it was so nice to find Blended Families as my Sister n Law and Brother n Law are Blended Families as well. So through this site I am able to allow my niece to shop for her step mom and find a gift that she would not find anywhere else. It is something her mom Lynn would use and Cherish forever. When I started seeing a divorced father last year, I quickly realized there was definitely not enough products out there recognizing the work of step-parents. Sadly, too many of those wonderful men and women work very hard opening their hearts to children they did not give gave birth to, and learning to navigate very turbulent waters in order to make their marriage and family work (instead of taking the easy way out)- without ever getting any acknowledgment.
