With Charlie being home schooled right now I am always looking for fun and new things we can do with him. So I was so glad when I found this fun site called Green Kid Craft Green Kid Craft as it allows us to put together crafts as a family. I like knowing that the items we are making are green. I also like knowing that you get more than one craft in the boxes you receive. They even have boxes for Holidays and also for Birthdays and with Charlie's right around the corner I am thinking of getting him a subscription to there services. If I do I can do a monthly subscription or a annual subscription which is great as it means Charlie would get mail and he would Love that. I would like the fact that we would have items we could do that would work with his home schooling. I also like knowing that each box is going to be different which means he would not get tired of the boxes he would receive.
In the Green Kids Craft Box we got it was focused on food and it had the following items inside it:
Coupons for plum Kids which I had not heard about and so I can not wait to check out there site.
As they make and sell Healthy Snacks and this is something I can really use.
Oikos Organic Greek Yogurt since Charlie and David both like Yogurt I can not wait to use this coupon and see what they thought of it.
Stonyfield is a brand of Yogurt that we use a lot but getting a Coupon to save on the items I will be purchasing is nice.
Mambo Sprouts is also another Coupon we had in the box. This is also something I have never tried but I think I will purchase some for Charlie to try.
Then I also have a Green Kid Craft Recipe Book and I actually found some items in it to try such as the Pumpkin Jack-O-Lantern Quesadilla as I know Charlie would like it as it has a pumpkin on it.
I like on the back of the booklet is some more books I can check out for Charlie.
The three crafts we got was:
Organic Basil and Sprout Garden
Charlie and I had fun putting this together and adding it to our Garden we already had. I like that it had everything we needed in it. This was wonderful as everything we had to do Charlie was able to do on his own which I was glad of.
On the back of the instructions was a coloring sheet that we colored once we got done.
The second craft we got was the Ceramic Tile Coaster I really liked it and I think it would make a nice gift for my mil and my mom as well for Christmas as they like getting items Charlie makes. After doing this with him I now know how to help him make one and by going to our local Craft Store and getting the items we need.
The last activity we got was the Fishing Game. This was Charlies favorite. He really enjoyed it. He liked all the colors of the fish and he also liked the shapes of the fish. I liked that it was all cut out for us. This is one activity that David did with Charlie as they like to fish together. This was nice as Charlie and David do not usually do his work together. I can tell you with David's help that Charlie was able to do most of it by himself.
I like that each of the activities gives us more than one way to use the items we made. I also like that on the back of each one there was more things for us to do.
I think that Green Kid Crafts would make a nice addition to day Schools and also Vacation Bible Schools.
I think the boxes are good for children of all ages.
