Math Blaster

Today I would like to share with you my thoughts on Jump Starts Math Blaster game. Even though the game is built around math and adding, I was able to still find plenty of things on there for Charlie to do. One of the things we would do is when it asked us how much something was I would tell Charlie the answer and have him pick out the number. He also like dressing his own avatar and would spend hours just doing this. He even talked David into helping him with it and they came up with the some crazy people. I showed David different parts of the game and he said he would play it again as he liked knowing there was things to shoot. Charlie and David both liked the Monster Mutt Rescue Dome Game. After Charlie and David and I started to use it we knew it would be a perfect addition to Charlies homeschool routine.  I liked knowing there is many places we can explore as a family. With the Monster Mutt Rescue Charlie is able to take it with him. This is nice as we can use it when we are out of the house. I also like knowing I can go to the I Tunes store and that it is free to get the application. Knowing there is a blog that I can go to and see what others think was nice. I would like to invite you to check it out at well at http://blog.mathblaster.com I am someone that gets frustrated when they play games as I do not have patience to figure out how things work. So it was nice knowing there is a game guide I can go to for anything I did not understand.

Knowing Math Blaster is a membership and that I have 3 ways to pay is nice. As this means it would make a nice gift for the children we buy for.

When you visit the blog there is crafts you can do. I am going to be using them in our homeschool lessons as it is going to give Charlie new and different things to do in art.

When I was on the site I even found 2 new programs I would like to try out with Charlie. They start at Pre School and since he is in between grades this would make another nice addition to our homeschool.

As a mom who was always thought the computer should not be used in school Jump Start and Math Blaster has helped me see how wrong I was about that. I know that it shows me there is other ways to teach our children. Plus it frees me up to do other things as he can do this with his Dad or his sister.

So all in all for us Jump Start Math Blaster is  a huge hit and I will be purchasing a membership to it soon.
