When income tax came in two year's ago David was kind enough to finally purchase us our first bed as we had always had ones that where given to us. At first we had not thought we would even purchase a new bed but when we where out shopping for furniture and I found the bed David told me if it was one I like that we could purchase it. I was so excited as I had not had a new bed since we got married ten years ago.
Back then Charlie was just three and a lot of the time he would sleep with me as David worked nights and we where in a apartment that was so tiny you could not move around at all. Which caused us to turn Charlie's room into a play room and our room into a bed room for all of us. Which lead us to having the dogs sleep with us as well.
So know that we are finally in our own home and have our own room until we can purchase a new bed next year I wanted to place a cover on the bed as it was so dirty. This way if my parents come down and spend the night nothing would end up on the mattress as my mother had a bladder issues.
When the mattress pad arrived I could not wait to open it up and to put it on the bed as I knew it would make it look like it was a brand new bed. Even David says he is so glad that I was sent the pad as it is so soft to sleep on and it keeps the mattress from poking us which the mattress did sometimes.
I like knowing it is not like a disposable one that crinkles and has a tendency to move around which is wonderful as I have purchased ones before that was so uncomfortable which I hated. I also love knowing it is machine washable and dryer. Plus knowing it works on multiple matteresses makes it nice.
I think that these would make make a wonderful gift for those on your Gift Giving List.

Product Description
Brushed Softness on Top, Non-Slip Underneath
You'll feel the difference between this pad and disposable ones as soon as you touch it. It's made of 50% cotton/50% polyester fabric that's been brushed on top for flannel-like softness. Plus, it doesn't make crackling noises every time you move, as disposables do. The underside is non-slip to help it stay right where you put it.
Quilted Absorbing Layer Locks in Moisture
The quilt's channels pull moisture away from the surface to the inner layer, where it is trapped so that skin, sheet and mattress all stay dry. An added benefit of the quilted construction is that it prevents the edges from curling.
52" Long for Complete Protection
Lay the pad lengthwise on a twin size mattress, and either lengthwise or crosswise on other mattress sizes for coverage everywhere you need it.
Machine Wash and Dry
After your good night's sleep, just throw it in the washing machine and dryer. In fact, it gets even softer after a few washings!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
