Mommies Point Of View: I need help I would like to get a Tablet:
If you have a Tablet Please share what you think of it and why you have it.
I have a laptop and also a E Reader I got for Christmas but I am thinking of getting rid of my lap top and just using the Tablet but I am not sure how well this would work.

Hey Glenda! Sorry I am off topic here, but I just wanted to let you know that I have added you to the competitor's list for my Bookmark Break Challenge 2012!
The only thing I need now is some kind of a list. I see you use good reads. That could be your list considering they date when you add the books so I can keep track of all the books for 2012 through that if you would like, or if you want to add a list somewhere else on your blog, like on your sidebar or on a seperate page, that would work too. Just let me know what works for you!

Tablets are fun, but not a viable PC replacement. You still need a "real" PC.
I use my tablet for movies (Netflix), reading (Overdrive libraries and Kindle app), music (Pandora), and games.
I use my PC for "real" work and typing. Typing anything of length (e-mail, blogs) isn't fun on a tablet. Organizing your photos and files is not practical long-term on a tablet. Tablets are great for light web surfing and consuming content... but they're bad for creating content. It's time consuming to make a video, blog post, Word doc, or anything tedious on a tablet.
hi, Glenda. I have a Dell inspiron 1750 which I use to blog when I am at home. When I am at work, I use my Dell Inspiron mini which is so lightweight and I still have the keyboard which really is great for blogging. The hubs has a Coby Kyros Panoramic tablet and I tried blogging with it but I am not comfortable with the tactile keyboard thing. I still love the real keyboard for blogging though short emails are ok to with the tablet ^^)
