Biannual Blogathon Bash

Do you know what a Blog Hop is?
As a new blogger I know when I started that I did not and I also was not sure how or if it would help me. So let me start with what is a blog hop. This is a event put on with bloggers who share a way to hop from each others blogs to gain visitors.

This is done in several different ways such as having them follow you on Pintrest, Google, Networked Blogs, Facebook or Twitter. They will ask you to submit a link of your choice for them to follow.



Some bloggers charge you to join there events if you are just starting out I would suggest doing the free ones until you know what you are doing and what you want to accomplish.

Then some want you to have a prize package and you can either look for sponsors or self sponsor which means offering your own prizes. If you own a business this is a nice way to be seen. I do a lot of this for other bloggers as it keeps me from having to do every single blog hop that comes along.

Then once you sign up they will send you a email on how to set the event up on your blog. Most Bloggers use raflecopter and if you plan on running your own blog hops then you may want to go ahead and join it as it makes running hops so much easier.

 Then write a post on your blog and come back to my blog and enter your link then follow all the blogs that have joined in and make sure when you visit that you leave a meaningful comment not just I am following you from as they take the time to right these post so why not take the time and leave a comment or a question on the post Please.

• Participate in the “Mini Challenges” available for this blogathon.
• Complete the 3 reviews/giveaways I have pending.
• Visit my fellow “Biannual Blogathon Bash” participants. {List is in left sidebar}
• {UPDATE} – I’ve just discovered another “to do” task which may actually take me 72 hours (lol)… Add the Alexa verification ID to the home page of Older Mommy Still Yummy…h…e…l…p…!!
