Does your library have a Summer Reading Program?

If so do you take your children and sign them up for it?

Do they have a program for adults and do you join it?

I used to join it with my daughter but since she passed away I always thought I would never join it again. I missed it so much as I Love to read that last year I  took Charlie and we joined the Hurst Library's Program. Within the first month we had completed all the required  hours and got all the prizes. The Liberians where so amazed.

So yesterday I took Charlie and we went to the new  library in our area in Bedford and he remembered the program and asked to join it again. So I did and I would like to share with you the first
6 books we rented and that we have finished.

They are as follows:
April Fool by Harriet Ziefert
Baby Tractor and Touch (and it is a Usborne Book)  which I sell and I did not even know it was one of the books I sold until I got home. If you have not visited a Usborne Books
site Please do and enter to win $50 in free books.
You can google them to find a website or if you like here is my husbands like to enter the contest with.
http://www.myubam.com/E3506  and his name is David Cates

Then we got him a book he really enjoyed and it is called:
That's Not My Train by Fiona Rachel
Welcome To Third Grade, Gus by Jacklyn Williams
Tiny Goes To The Library by Carl Meister

Now tomorrow these all go back and I can not wait to see what he checks out and how many as he has been known to check out 50  at a time and for us to read them in 2 days. I know we are obssed with books.
