Witch Wilma's Cooking for Kids - Pitta Pizza Recipe

Today I found a site by Mary J. Lockwood and on the site I found this video to make Pitta Pizza and once I was on there I also found the recipe below to make play dough and so I wanted to share them with my readers. These two things are what David, Charlie and I will be doing tomorrow for school.

I am going to let him chose what color he wants to learn how to spell this week and that is the color of play dough we will make as well as the color of food we will put on our Pizza's.

So stay tuned to find out what we color we chose to learn about and what foods we put on our Pizza.

To make the play dough:
·         Pour the flour and salt into a bowl.
·         Add two tablespoons of cooking oil.
·         Stir the mixture together.
·         Add as much warm water as you need to the bowl in order to make a smooth dough.
·         Knead the dough.
·         Split the dough into four parts and add a few drops of food colouring as required.
·         Knead the food colouring into the dough.
·         And there you have it! Your very own homemade play dough.
Additional Tips:
·         You may want to wear plastic gloves when kneading in the food colouring!
·         If the dough consistency is too wet, simply add more flour.
·         For extra elasticity, add a spoonful of cream of tartar to the mix.
·         To make less play dough, simply halve the quantity  of ingredients.
·         Store the play dough in a sealed plastic bag or container to keep it fresh.
