With Charlie starting school this year and being so picky about what he will and will not eat it is going to be so hard. I have been trying to decide if I should pack him a lunch or let him buy his lunch. Only I am afraid if he buys his lunch he will go hungry as he does not like to eat most foods. So I started to toy with him taking his lunch. So David and I decided that would be the best as we know he would eat if we do that. The thing with that is what would he carry his lunch in and how easy would it be for him to open and close without making a mess.
So when I was given the chance to work with Rubbermaid and try out there new
LunchBlox I knew it would make making his lunch so much easier. Plus it is in green and he Loves green. I can still get him a lunchbox that he likes and just slide this inside it. As we all know children like to pick out lunch boxes with there favorite characters on it. The LunchBlox from Rubbermaid has 2 snack containers where I can put his ketchup and ranch. As he can never have enough of those. Then there is one slide container I can put him some chips into. Plus it has a sandwich container which will hold him some nuggets as it is made for sandwiches but it is deep enough for the nuggets as he does not eat sandwiches. Then it even has the blue ice with it to keep it all cold. Plus when Charlie is not using it it comes in a neat little package I can put it all back in to and will not have to search for it. Since Charlie is still so small and some things are hard for him to open and close I had him try to open it and close it and he did not have any trouble doing either. Once I get him a Rubbermaid water bottle to hold his drink he will be set.
I do know that once my sister gets her full time job I am going to get her one as well as she carries her lunch everyday and sticks the sandwiches in Ziploc bags and it tastes nasty by the time she eats it. The Rubbermaid Lunchblox will keep her food fresher and no matter what time she eats it it will taste better. Plus since she takes a lot of salads and has no way to keep them cold she can put it in the sandwich compartment and use one for dressing and add the blue ice and her lunch will be cold and I think healthier as well. Because in this Texas heat I am always afraid her lunch is going to spoil.
So if you have someone who takes there lunch to work or to school then I would like for them to check out the Rubbermaid Lunchblox and let me know what they think of it.
