My Families Dessert~ Ultimate Blogging Challenge

Today I am going to share the one dessert my whole family agrees on and Loves. It is from a restaurant called Cheddar's and it is there Cookie Monster, It is a giant chocolate chip cookie they cook in a iron skillet. Which they bring it to the table in. They add ice cream and chocolate syrup and whip cream and a cherry. It is so good. I know exactly how long it takes them to make it so I know exactly when to order it this way we are ready to eat it as soon as it is sat on the table.

We only buy one as it is so rich. I have them place it in front of Charlie and I allow him the first bit which is hard to do as I really want it. Even my husband who is not a guy who eats much dessert will eat this with us. We all have our favorite parts of it. Charlie wants the ice cream, David the cookie and the cherry. I want the whip cream. We manage to always finish it no matter how full we may be. I make sure not to eat all my dinner this way I have room for it.

I can even remember the first time I had one I went to Six Flags with my best friend from school and we went there for lunch. She taught me how to eat there on a budget. We order the Triple Treat Sampler and each of us pick one item we want the third one had to be something we both like. Then we order the sampler and two drinks and we have a full course meal for less than $20.

So I decide on my daughters birthday I would take her and get her one. It became her favorite dessert as well. Since she is gone its hard for me to go there to eat. But if I am missing her or it is mine or her birthday I go to help keep her memory alive.

If you have not been there and tried one Please do, then come back and let me know what you think of it. Or if you have a Benigons close to you order a Death By Chocolate as this is my nephews favorite dessert and let me know what you think of it .This is not something I like. Plus we no longer have this restaurant close to us but if we did I would take him to get one.
