Shopping for teenagers is so hard

I am an aunt and a step mom to a few teenagers and I must tell you shopping for them can be so hard. I never knew what they would or would not like. Plus, I am not sure if they already have the items I go to buy for them. So I know I can buy Gift Cards but to me that does not seem like Christmas and so I refuse to buy them. So this year, I am going out of the box for me and I am looking for new stores to shop at. I finally found one I like and it carries not only T Shirts, but hoodies, wallets, boxers and also watches. So I should be able to find something for everyone on my list.

Another thing I like is, they have stores both online and offline and they offer coupons for both of them. The hoodies are on sale right now. Plus I saw T Shirts for only $10.00 which means I can get them more than one item. I even saw a watch that I could get for my husband and so with the coupon and free shipping. I do not even have to leave home which is even better as I have a little one and it is not always easy to take him shopping so I am so excited I found this and I know my husband would be as well as it means he would not have to watch our son while I am out shopping.

One thing I also saw, is that they have is clearance jeans and my husband needs them for work so now I am able to even shop for him which I am not normally able to do as we do not have the money to shop for ourselves as we save it and spend it on the children. We can see a lot of wonderful jeans during clearance as they would make wonderful Christmas Gifts for every member of your family.

Heely's and I was the envy of the aparmtent complex!!

As a teenager I always wanted to be popular and low and behold it never happened. Only now, at 47, I was as I was able to try out a pair of Heelys and all the kids suddenly wanted to be my best friend.


 I must tell you it was so fun. You see, my daughter always wanted a pair and as a single mom I could not afford them and so when I found out I could do a review on a pair I jumped at the chance, never thinking I would be picked. Then I was and I felt like I was getting to spend time with her as I could feel her looking over my shoulder as I choose a pair. I picked the pink and black as those where her favorite colors. 


Once they got in I could not wait to try them on. So I had my husband go outside with me and we put them together and I tried to skate. Tried to, but oops I was on the ground in no time flat!


Then I see the two girls in the apartment watching and laughing at me. So I try again and I make it around the courtyard and then because I know they could not afford a pair I let them try them and we had so much fun. 


I just wish I had a pair for my son. As it would make great exercise for us. 


So now when the girls come over we grab the skates and head outside and it helps me not miss my daughter so much. 


Plus, now I know my son will skate with me as he is asking for some too so I need to check and see if they come in his size as he is only 3 1/2 and wears a Toddlers 9 if not I will be looking into some regular skates and off we go. Would you like to join us?
