Pink Tears: by Hana Goldberg

Today I am conducting another review for Giveaway Services. On a children's book called Pink Tears written by Hana Goldberg as I was sent a code to download it from Amazon. But the thoughts in the review are all mine and mine alone.

This Summer in our home has been up and down as there is days when all the kids in the neighborhood wanted to be here to play with Charlie. Then there is other days when they all play and do not want Charlie to play. Or there is days when one or two of the boys are here playing and someone else comes up to play and they say they do not want that person here.

So this book was great for us as I sat down to read it to Charlie and he understood exactly how Lolly felt and Promised to me more kinder. Then asked if we could read it to his friends so they would all understand as well. Which made me feel so Proud as I could tell he did not want to hurt others feelings and that Pink Tears helped him.

The story line is great for children of all ages even if they are not sad because it gives them a chance to know that if they become sad it is OK to cry. As I read it to Charlie I explained to him that even as a adult I have become sad in the past and had to figure out why. Especially when my daughter was killed.

The funny part was Charlie wanted to know if he could turn blue when he was sad and if his tears could be Pink so I would always know he was upset. Which I think would be nice. But it does not work like that.

All in all this book kept all the children engaged as it was not too long. They enjoyed the pictures a lot. Especially the cover. Charlie says it was OK that it was about a girl because boys do not cry. But once we finished the book he said it would have been okay if it had had a boy in it as they can be sad too.

Once David heard what we was talking about he even told Charlie he gets sad sometimes and has cried in the past. Which has brought Charlie and David much closer together. Because before Charlie thought his dad was perfect and that is not the case.

I would purchase this book to give as Gifts. Plus I will be checking Charlies school to see if they have it in the Library as I think it would make a nice addition. If they do not I will purchase it for the school as they can never have to many books.

"One day, when everyone was playing with everyone else, nobody played with Lolly. She stood apart, tears filling her throat..."

Short people need not worry!! As you can purchase Step Stools at Office Candy?

Have you seen the Step Stools at Office Candy?

Charlie and I need a couple of them as we can not reach some of the items in our house. As neither of us are that tall. Now mind you he is only 7 and will grow. But I am 50 and done growing and I am less than 5'4 so reaching things can be hard!! Which means it  bites!!

I used to just climb up on the cabinets to get what I would want but since I am older that is not as easy to do. Plus if Charlie saw me doing it he would want to as well and he could get hurt. Which I would hate. So since I am a affiliate for Office Candy I tool a chance that Office Candy  would have some Step Stools for sale and they did.

You can check them out at Step Stools at Officecandy.com! As there are three of them a pink one, grey one and a green one.

If you where going to purchase one which color would you chose and why?

For me I would get the pink one and for Charlie I would get the green one as I know he would like it. But  Leslie and him both like green and they could share it. Although I might have to just buy all three so we all have our own and it would stop some arguing other than who wanted what color.

Kids gotta love em!!!!

Sweaty Bands

Have you heard of Sweaty Bands? If not Please check them out on there website and also there Blog which I have been kind enough to list for you.
http://www.sweatybands.com/

http://www.sweatybands.com/en/Sweaty%20Blog

As a mom I am always one that pulls her hair up into a pony tail and walks out the door.

Charlie and David have asked me to cut it time and time again as they both like it when it it down..  Only I just do not take the tme to visit the Salon as it cost so much. I just grab it and a rubber band and out the door I go. But it has gotten so  long that it gets in the way and it tangles up all the time.

So I am thinking after the New Year that I will go and have it colored and cut to surprise the guys.

Plus I think I would feel better. I also would not have to struggle with putting it up all the time either. Which sometimes I have trouble doing as my should and hand or both will not allow me to put it up. Then I have to ask for help. Let me tell you that David is no good at putting it up and ends up talking me into leaving it down.

Which I do for a bit then it begins to bother me and no matter how much I am hurting I end up putting it up.

Once when I went to put it up I ended up pulling my shoulder out of place and I almost had to go to the hospital.  I could not move my arm for days and when you are a blogger and need to type this is not good.

But when you have no insurance you can not afford to go so this is where Sweaty Bands and a hair cut would help.  As I could get my hair cut up to my shoulder and on the days I want to have it pulled back I could use one of my Sweaty Bands instead of putting my hair up into a pony tail. You see the bands work like a headband and are classier than a pony tail holder.

Plus they come in so many different styles and colors that I could have a different one for every outfit I own.

I could even order some for Baby J as they are always putting bows in her hair and I think that these would look cute on her and there is a line for 4 and under. You can check this line out which is called Bandits here    http://www.sweatybands.com/en/shop-sweaty-products/bandits/all-bandits
The one I would like to get for Baby J is this one
http://www.sweatybands.com/en/shop-sweaty-products/bandits/all-bandits/bandit-im-the-cats-meow.aspx

As for me I would like to get some of these
http://www.sweatybands.com/en/shop-sweaty-products/solids/solids/wicked.aspx

I would get them  black and  white as they would match anything I was wearing.  Plus these colors are classy and my favorite color.

I would also like to have a pink and a purple and a blue one as I know Charlie would like for me to have a blue one as this is his favorite color.

I would not mind purchasing a 6 pack of Sweaty bands as I could put one or two in the stockings I am putting together for Leslie, Alex and Meghan.

As these would be something they have not gotten before. But also something they would use. If you would like to view the 6 packs you can here.
 http://www.sweatybands.com/en/shop-sweaty-products/grab-bag/6-pack.aspx

If you have either ladies or small girls on your Gift List and are not sure which ones they would like then why not get them a Gift Certificate from Sweaty Bands as they would be able to pick out the ones they would like.

Of if you are looking for a way to earn some extra cash why not check out there affiliate program at:

Or you could even become a wholeseller for Sweaty Bands.

Here is what they say on the site about Sweaty Bands:

Elastic Sports Headband / Sweatband by Sweaty Bands are fashionable sweatbands that can be worn by girls and women of all ages. Sweaty Bands are fashionable yet highly functional because they wick away sweat and do not slip off.

Robby Wash www.RobbyWash.com

LUE WASHING BALLS $29.95 The Robby Wash washer ball promotes itself as replacing 75 pounds of traditional laundry detergent or enough to do one year laundry. Manufactured in France and distributed in the U.S by Oransil, Robby Wash is a hypoallergenic laundry detergent ball containing 10 ounces of macro-molecules that clean clothing. The cleaning pellets are composed of Sodium laurel, Sodium per carbonate, Sodium sulfate, Pentanedione, Polyethylene glycol, Stearic acid, Polydimethysiloxane, Sodium carbonate and water. Loading Today I would like to share with you a new and unique item that replaces traditional laundry soap. You may ask does it actually clean your clothes and the answer is yes it does. It also replaces 75 pounds of traditional laundry detergent which could save you a lot of money. I like that there is no harsh scents. What I did for my house is a I bought a blue one I use for Davids work clothes and I keep it in its box. It is only used for those items. Then I went and bought a pink one for my clothes and everyone knows it is for mine. Then I have a second blue one that I use for everything else. I like that when it is time to do the laundry all I have to do is to grab the two boxes and not carry a lot of bulky bottles as we have to walk up to the laundry. At this time I do not have a washer and dryer in my apartment. I wish I did. Only that will come later. I am thinking of getting some of these to give as gifts as my mom has to go to the laundry and it is so hard on her to carry a bunch of bottles into the laundry that this would make it so much easier on her. Plus the one ball would save her some money. Once I used it the first time I was hooked as my clothes came out so clean. If you have not heard of the Robby Ball and would like to know more about it Please check them out at as I can tell you you will be hooked once you try it.

I would like to let Karren Haller know if I had the money I would send this too her.

Pamper Me Pink Spa Gift BasketKarren and I work together on a daily basis and I would not know as much as I do without her and so since I know her so well I know she Loved Pink. Plus I know her son Justin planted some plants for her and so I think it would be nice to show her how much I appreciate her.

Then the next time I want to send her something I could send her this Wine Basket. As there is many times when we are working together that  I know when both of us could have used a drink. So Thank you Karren for all you have done and I love you so much as does David and Charlie.
